Yeah, but you live in the buttugly part, don't you? At least I'm not far from the beach. I just hate the political climate of the OC.

If they ever give California an enema they will stick the hose in Indio. I am not sure that BtM's neck of the woods is as bad as Indio.

My neck of the woods is somewhere between OC and Indio, and it's definitely somewhere between the beautiful end and the enema end. We'd be the belly-button lint of California.
On the downside, it's generally ten degrees hotter here than in the OC, and the mountains keep in the smog. On the upside, I've only encountered a road-rager once in 25 years of living here. When I took a 3-week class in Costa Mesa, it was a weekly occurance.

I'm a freeway avoider for that very reason. No need to get killed by some idiot in a two-ton hunk of flying metal.
Indio isn't that bad. Now Barstow...ugh.
