Shalom, hello and Vilcommen,

I heard you are the latest addition to the team, I'm a programmer too, so if you have any questions, write me.
I'm on the scouts group and Guardian Angles.

Hiya! Nice to see a new h2g2 team member, especially in that most fantastic of departments where the magic gets done (as opposed to the other department where they do the Editorial magic, and where Peta and Abi concoct their plots for the meetup...) I'm a Computer Science student, so insatiably curious and interested in programming of all types save perhaps large-scale databases and accountancy software (so boring!)

And I have this bad habit of saying "Hmm... that looks like an interesting programming language" and before I know it I'm attempting another project in yet another language...

Hope you settle in quick and I look forward to seeing the results of your efforts in all the fantastic new features I'm sure are being cooked up somewhere in the computers at h2g2.

Mr. Cogito

Hello,

So very nice to see a new Programmer on board, especially since Mark seems to have some interesting ideas up his sleeve. I look forward to the work you and Jim will do.

I myself also have a computer science degree (well, a Master's as well), so I can count myself among the ranks of programmers here at H2G2. It comes in handy for the odd AI or related entry (Lucinda wrote a great one on Tree Searching). I guess we could form a club or something. smiley - smiley

Yours,
Jake
