Topic Drift and I've just thought of something to add to the original theme, well actually I was thinking about it last night whilst mentally undressing the marker on the next rink. (It's allowed I was just using memory)

Anyway. A question about the date was it set up, or had it developed from natural interests. Opposites have very little in common you need something unto which both of you can latch and infuse or else you do get horrible, uncoverable silences. If it was set up as a blindish date make sure the person doing the seeting up know both of you well enough to know the depths of interest in various things but if it was someone you thought you shared something with obviously his insecurity was *not* your problem, but his, so don't give up hope.
