Just a brief introduction to researchers for those who would like to see a little introduction to who can become a researcher and why they might want to do that.

I think your page gives a good personal view, although it perhaps becomes too unbalanced at the end. Maybe you could add a closing paragraph saying that 'you too can join h2g2 and meet fun people like me'?
Oh, and remove the extra 's'.

GlowWorm, your Personal Space is quite a good Personal Space. But why on are you trying to get it into the Edited Guide?

First of all, welcome back!
I first thought of a typo when I saw a 5-digit A-number showing up
A27703 is your Personal Space and if it were to get into the Edited guide then you would lose the capability to edit it You should create a new entry and copy the contents there - but... have you read the http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/Writing-Guidelines ? The style of Guide entries has changed somewhat in the meantime (no hitchhiker style, no first person etc) and advise for researchers would IMHO be more suitable as a Help page than as an Edited entry...

Hi, When I returned after the guide was moved to BBC I did a similiar mistake and thought tht my Dance entry is a good one for the guide, because it was funny and nice and described what I feel about dance, but it isn't what makes an entry edited guide material, it is only what makes an entry good. You need to comply to a few more guidelines as Bossel mentioned to make edited guide entries.
Hope to see some from you soon

Even more good points and even more helpful - when I came back on I just wanted to update my existing entries with the new mark-up. That's as far as I've got as yet and the next problem was going to be how to split this up to a personal space entry that I can use and a general purpose "help-style" entry for newcomers. Thanks for the advice on doing that.
Oh - and I've started reading the new guidelines as well since I know all my entries will need to be updated eventually.

Actually, sometimes researchers decide they want at least some of their entries to remain personal/fictional/unfitting to the edited guide from any other reason.
In these cases, the entry is just left as it was feel free to keep any number of them as they are, and fix the ones you want to share as edited guide material

I suggest we have this thread moved to the sinbin because it actually doesn't belong to a Guide entry. It's a technical thing, and all it takes for you is to copy the contents into a newly created entry.
