For the welcome. Have filled in every application known to man and beast have told everyone that they would be so lucky to have me working for them. Waiting now for my front door to be beaten down.

Hubs is looking at doing a degree in IT we have talked and we decided that at this time it would be good to take stock of what he really wants to do and not just look for something to pay the bills, you are after all in work a lot of the time you should be doing something you enjoy and that you are good at.

At the moment I am just happy to be home. We are enjoying very ordinary things like going to the shops, eating real food and taking the dog for a walk.

The only thing we haven't got yet is a tv because we have so many other things to do we thought it was a good idea to wait for the real winter.

Hi Cookie. I reckon your hubby is right. Mine has talked for ages about doing a law degree as he never went to uni but was out working at 18. That means he has been working for nigh on 30 years soon. He has talked about retiring at 50 but would need something to do. I keep encouraging him to do the degree part time but we never get any further.
Will you consider bank nursing? Am I right in thinking you nursed or did i imagine it?
I'm glad you are enjoying the simple pleasures in life! Life is sometimes so frantic it is easy to forget how easy it is to be happy with simple things!
No TV....more time to read!
