About me (User 26715, Dan Jackson)
Hi, my name is Dan Jackson (not the Stargate SG-1 character, by the way...) and I live in England (you know... that small island just near Europe?).
I've got a few web pages now:
- Wacko Jacko's Digital Domain, which is my personal web site - you can find out more about me on there, and also see a picture of me. This page has fallen somewhat into disuse during the past few years, so you're much more likely to find up-to-date stuff on my other website.
- The Intercontinuum Network, which is now my main personal website. It's hosted on my Linux box at home, so be nice to it. On there you can find my blog, which, when I remember to write stuff in it, gives you a rough idea of what I'm doing at the moment
- #animedvd Home Page, the home page of the unofficial chat channel of the Anime on DVD web site.
My interests
- MUDs, or Multi-User Dungeons - I currently play on a MUD called Aardwolf.
- Anime - I love anime, and have been collecting various different anime on DVD. I also run an IRC channel where people can come to chat about anime and DVD.
- Manga - like anime, except in graphic novel format. Also it's a lot cheaper.
- Science fiction and fantasy books - some of my favourite authors are Terry Pratchett, Tom Holt, Robert Rankin and David Eddings.. of course there are loads more that I like as well :)
