this course of penicillin I'm on now for my legs runs for 1 week. If it looks like the infection has gone thenbut if I don't think it's all gone, then I'll book another doc's appointment

also, sleepwiseI'm now sleeping 2 hours without clock watchingfar better than the 1 hour I've been doing the last few weeks

I would advise that you contact doctor after course is finished,in any case. He or she should be the one to decide if you need more time on antibiotics.


Mind you, I agree that a finish as quickly as possible is desirable...but the medico will have to make final decision.

I'll be offline for the next few days...there's the build up to Thanksgiving to deal with..and there are also bairns everywhere...so, offline, and maybe a bit of peace and quiet. I think I'll go check out a book....

monday night, I was to all intents and purposes going to be in hootoo tonight, butas it got to about 9pm, tiredness reared it's ugly head againand once more bed
even my mam said that recovery will take time "to feel as weak a kitten" as the saying goes is one thing - but this long isn't something I anticipated

Ah...Mam's wisdom is most likely spot on, unfortunately.

things are improving slowly my friend, no apparent difference on leg infection yet, but I'll be away to doc's Thurs' for another blood test (to do with body potassium salts) and I'll ask doc/nurse to check legsand for stronger penicillin if this lot don't seem to be working

this is the 2nd week of penicillin for the legs and I've still been heading to bed before 9pm each nightsleep is still erratic. But! as I've been fighting 2 separate "infections" at the same timeI can understand now, why I've been so low in energy/strength etc


but I shall return

Well, everything here is mostly as usual. Thanksgiving was nice....my "family" had a nice dinner...Mexican style as usual, but not really spicy..

been to mam's the last 2 weeks, but prior to that, the only time I've been out is for needed things -IE food/bill paying etc. Rest of time spent sat watching tv/dvd's, I've hardly been on the pc even during the dayand beds been around 8.30/9pm - if not sleeping at least I'm resting to allow body to recover asap
