Told my friends and I think I told Sue (sister) because I said I'd bring her something nice back from Italy for her burthday!

Doubt it! She doesn't go in for small talk very much! Are we having e-mail problems today or what?

As long as we don't shock them with anything else - remember the heart problems etc.

Okay. Hello, by the way. I think I finally understand what snogging is (cheers for the fairly slow- when- it- comes- to- strange- English- slang Fenchurch). Thank you. Thank you all for teaching me this fairly cool word. And I agree. Nothing better to do on the weekend. smiley - winkeye

Doug's fishie is done. Dastardly down to it's little fins. I've already taught him all the English slang I know, too. He's an intelligent Dastardly fish.

Cheer's Fenny - I have his URL so I might try adding it to his page in a min!

I'm thinking of making Snogging my word of the day, or maybe it'll be quibble! I quite like the sound of quibble!

Okay...I'm having a bit of trouble uploading it though, my geocities's server seems to have dissappeared smiley - sadface... it really is cute, though, I even got the dastardly laugh in...

Quibble? What's that? Oh, and I thought I was keen on the whole British thing when I finally figured out what a "flat" was... I do believe I'm hopeless smiley - winkeye.

Okay, I have given up on geocities as not only did it not load, but caused me to become so frustrated that I spilled coffee all over the keyboard and am now risking electrical shock. Therefore I uploaded it to another site, which I'll give you since it'll be a while before I post it on the page-

To Quibble (it is a verb) means to argue pedantically usually over silly things that don't matter much. Try saying it over and over - it's a great word!

Quibble!Quibble!Quibble!Quibble!Quibble!

Along the lines of cool words, flibble, which rhymes with quibble, is also rather fruity. It is also totally devoid of meaning, other than in reference to Mr Flibble, of BBC's hit comedy series, Red Dwarf. He starred in Series Five, in the episode named Quarantine. Watch it. It's really quite funny.

PS, Snog is an anagram of song, not to mention sogn and nogs.

Oooh, I like Red Dwarf, and I remember seeing that episode (including the reruns as well). smiley - smiley

As for meeeting parents, I did that after the first week. The lead up was a scarey experience as I didn't know how my SOH's parents would react. Find out that they have a mad house, and they made me feel very comfortable with my other half. Now if we are together at Christmas, he (that's right) will have to meet my parents. smiley - smiley

How about this: after he met my mom and I met his parents, we found out that they actually like me better than him and he's the son my mom never had. We still after 2 years don't know how they feel about the relationship itself, just us as individuals. His mom has gone so far as to invite me shopping with her without even telling him and introduces me as "A friend that also happens to date my son", and my mom acts as if he's perfect - "Why can't you get a stable job, like him... He's so together, do you have any idea about yourself? What would you do without him?" smiley - winkeye Interestingly enough, his bio. father hates me and my father hates him...

Well after being taken to see my OH's parents at short notice (got picked up from work and told going to go see parents), I thought of a way to get him back. I rang mum up on the weekend, and while talking to her, and then she wanted to speak to him, so I handed him the phone. *laughs* Ain't I a bithc? smiley - smiley

Poor baby! That's so mean... mine did something like that, because I was really afraid to meet his parents - one day while we were just walking around downtown, he picked up the pay phone and called his mom and simply gave me the reciever.... apparently they had planned it because she said "Hi dear" as soon as I got the phone and proceeded to tell me what we were having for dinner smiley - winkeye.
