From me shed, son

Just tweeked the script behind the buttons so I can add buttons and call the same function to open pop-ups of different sizes. Any body know what other CGI trickery lurks beyond?
Works quite well, IMO. Just 'View Source' to snag the script/form.

Talking of metal, don't you just love irony?

I run Netscape 4.6 under NT4 at work, and every few sessions it launches a Netscape Quality Feedback nag wizard and every single time it crashes, taking out all open NS clients.
I love it

Boots' have my little chuck-away camera and are in the process of transferring it's contents onto a CD. I got the impression that this is not something they do very often at the Derby branch.
Development and transfer will take seven days (it must be tricky) and, if they don't screw it up, it'll take me a further day or two to get them somewhere online.
Don't get too excited, they're probably crap, lots of fuzzy pictures of a distant stage. There are a couple of full frontal shots of me and my smelly friends, though. You can't wait, can you?

Day off. Waiting to set sail to Milton Keynes in Trev's Mum's knackered old Beemer.

I'm bored so I've just added a real perdy shot of my desktop to the user pages bit.
I wonder if referenced links work from the journal, here's my other Homepage, just in case.

Hot Metal

Offices without air-con are a "bad thing". It's official. Grey, misty, drizzly England is currently in the grip of a heat wave (even 'ere up north) and it sucks. The thermometer on the desk behind me says it's 88 F. I've no idea what the humidity is, but I reckon fish up and down the country are having a bad week.
Hope the sun lasts the weekend, though, for I have a little camping trip planned. Yes, the pitches are booked and plans are laid and on Saturday I shall be reclining with beers and smokes while Metallica massage my soul with a selection of their gentle refrains. Bliss. Deep joy. I even go with the blessing of my g/f, who has to attend a hen night, she's a gem.
There'll hopefully be pictures of Metalli-Keynes, some time soon. I can't decide whether to take my digital camera that was free, but would be a devastating loss should it fall out of my possession, or a five quid Boots recyclable and wait for Photo CD development (haven't got a scanner.)
I've no idea who else is playing. Jerry Cantrell's band supported the last bit, so that's too much to ask.
Perhaps a complete description of events would make a good guide entry. Mmmm, perhaps not.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
