The end of an era

I'm not sure if I've come to terms with the departure of Kelly Brook from Channel 4's Big Breakfast yet. No, I think it might take some time.
Agreed, she'd not the sharpest tool in the box, but Johnny Vaughan's energetic wit and Kelly's more, erm, physical charms were a winning combination, IMO, and have set many a day off to a fine start.
We'll have to see.

I shall be charging no more than the price of a Pizza Hut Pepperoni Feast, which I'll wash down with your discarded red.
Mmmmmm. No takers yet?

(Full) Bottle Bank

I've decided to offer my services as a disposal point for unwanted full bodied red wine (Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, that kind of thing.)
If you have any unopened bottles that are burning a hole in your wine rack, drop me a line and I'll arrange to drink them for you.

Clive Barker's Galilee and things are hotting up. Galilee is being borne on a storm of his mother's making back to the island to pledge his undying love for Rachel, Nicodemus' horse has just risen from the dead and preparations are being made for Cadmus' funeral.
This is a strange but superb book. It's quite different to most Barker, much less of a *BOO* book, and I love the first person / third person switch as Maddox writes the book, and comments of the writing, as I'm reading it. Very compelling.
