Wow! I must say your page is VERY impressive - the best looking one I've seen! Makes mine look like, erm, an average page, which is probably why I come to You to ask "how", and not vice versa. Still, I must say, it's very impressive - keep up the good work!

Why Thank you very much

personally I think this page has more impact http://www.h2g2.com/A39386 though it takes a while to load

Okay, well I'll have a look, but it has to be quite good to beat yours!
I suspect you may just be too modest...

LOL - modesty doesn't come into it as it's a page of mine. I'll just anxiously cower behind the sofa & wait for your reaction.
BTW I only mentioned impact, no mention was made of niceness or any other positive attribute

Modesty's lack.
Bluebottle Posted Nov 9, 1999
Don't worry, I will....
By the way, there seems to be a prob in the music section....?
Modesty's lack.
Bruce Posted Nov 9, 1999
Hmmm, the music's working fine for me at the moment. Maybe the site that the midis are on was down when you tried.
Did you get any errors when you tried?
What browser are you using?

Modesty's lack.
Bluebottle Posted Nov 9, 1999
Nope, still not working for me. But I'm on a uni computer, so I don't know that much about what it allows and its specs.
Modesty's lack.
Bluebottle Posted Nov 9, 1999
Far too many security systems - they're so afraid of hackers you can't alter the monitor without an alarm going off!
Still an impressive page
Bluebottle Posted Nov 9, 1999
'Fraid so. Still, if the music is working for you, and no-one else has any complaints with it, I guess it must be this compy!
Still an impressive page

Hi Jimi X
Though Zappa's one of my favourite muso's I think the Layla & Santana midi's are better sounding - depending on your midi setup of course.
Bluebottle - the only complaint I've had relate's to the TISM song near the bottom of the list - it needs a special plugin - which is a pity coz it rocks (& it rocks your modems socks too coz it's so big )

Still an impressive page

Yep, the zappa's cool! Looks like it's just my compy, which is good for you, but depressing as I feel as if I'm missing out
I'm back again!

Hi Bruce, just when you thought you'd got rid of me, I'm back!
Sorry to take up your precious time, but do you have the code for a working clock? The clock I've got won't work with IE, although it does with Netscape. Also, was it you I remember saying something about space for those of us without our own compy so we can upload to somewhere to put piccies on our sites from?
I'm back again!
Bruce Posted Dec 7, 1999
Hiya
I'll have a hunt round for the clock code. The clock that's currently on your page works OK for me in IE5 btw - what does it do in your browser?
There's some info on websites that will let you store files/pics etc here http://www.h2g2.com/A187355#UPLOAD
Also MadMunk & the h2g2 Post are offering some space for people to store pics etc for use on h2g2 - there's some info here http://www.h2g2.com/A208478
hope it helps

Okay, thanks for the help.
I use both Internet Explorer & Netscape - and the clock works in Netscape and not IE. Don't know why...
