I do have a question though. I am still getting an error when I try to play downunder's file that he used to start his quiz about Austrlia. I think that DU said that Emmy had the same error. Any idea what the problem is/was?

The error given was: Video not available cannot find 'vids:1420' decompressor

Any ideas??!!??!!??!!

That error means that you dont have the appropriate Codec for the avi file - avi's are just avi's you know. What's the url for the quiz?

well, i do have to admit that the page can be impressive... i've never been able to figure out how to get the new page to load after the viewer simply points the mouse, no clicking. any hints???

You need a newer version of Media Player Melina - some versions of Media Player (the thng that plays the movie) have 'check for update' on the help menu otherwise you'll have to go to www.microsoft.com & select the downloads/update links.

I finally went and tried to watch DU's avi, and GUESS WHAT!!!! He has deleted it!!

But now that I got the TV card working, I can create my own avi's...

Well....it may be too late about the encouraging thing bit. I have already told him about my new TV Card. I can now chat and watch Red Dwarf (Series 8 here in Canada) at the same time.

I can also make snapshot jpeg's, and avi's.

Is that you drooling now Bruce??

So when should we expect the home movies on the web then?
