Passing through
Posted Dec 17, 2012
Realised today when looking on my personal space (from the good Dr's Account) that I had a former volunteer badge
I can't believe my volunteering expired and no one I live with told me this would happen
regardless I won't sign anything on a site that is merely titled "I promise" feeling too rebellious.
Never mind I don't have time anyways, my PGCE is taking up all my free time
See you all next time I actually sign on

Embarrassment
Posted Jul 12, 2012
I love embarrassing my wife, but I don't like skype as it doesn't have a spell checker for my tired brain, and I may have lost the Dr's password off the sign in thing, I hope baby brain doesn't affect her too badly

Baking
Posted Oct 22, 2011
I love baking and my favourite time of the year to bake is the autumn and Christmas time. Christmas is always sugary with treacle, golden syrup and ginger, so much ginger you forget the cold outside.
Autumn brings apples and my favourite, pumpkins. they take a bit of preparation but there is a lot less wastage that the apples, cutting it in half scrapping out the seeds (to roast and eat) the stringy bits end up in the compost and then I slow roast them in a water bath. 2 hours later there is caramelised pumpkin and the skin easily pulls off.
After blending all the flesh and water from the bath I have all in all two large bowls of pumpkin purée and have barely made a dent in how much I have after making a pumpkin pie and a pumpkin and walnut bread.
I see soups and more pies in my near future.
