We never have turkey, mum doesn't like it, I can live without it and my sister and Alex couldn't care less, why should you eat something you don't like because it's tradition, we've got Pork and Beef, carrots, sprouts, parsnip, stuffing and roast spuds

I find turkey too dry, the only person that wants it is my brother, mum didn't want to bother this year but he was moaning like a little child... we are having it because we are going to my Grandma's house
he is 15 and is excited about Christmas like a child of 5... whereas I seem to be Scrooge I really don't like this season

As much as I hate that sandwich-plastic-turkey stuff it's a lot more moist than the stuff you get on a carcass, have a word in your mum's ear about next year and tell your brother if he doesn't like it to have dinner somewhere else
The last xmas didner I had with my mother in law, she so overcooked the turkey it bounced off the plate, so I said, that if everyone came to us for dinner I'd cook a honey roast ham, by the reaction I got you'd have thought I'd said I'd dance naked in the garden all I got was 'you must have turkey it's tradition' why sould I eat something I don't like just because 'it's tradition'

I hate doing somethig for tradition sakes, the only tradition I like is listening to war of the worlds on Christmas Eve which I did

I always make a chocolate log on xmas eve, I've done it ever since I was at school, another tradition is whenever it's you're birthday you get your favourite meal, usually cooked by me, Alex's is chicken nugget and chips me and mum is beef strogonoff and my sisters is shepherds pie

yeah I aloways tried to do that on my birthday, but they haven't been the same in a while *sighs* and I haven't heard from matt in a while, and I'm afriad to bother him
Getting my grandparents to bring food is a bad idea as they bring too much and insist on me eating it all, like when we went to theirs for nibbles and I ate far too much as they won't let you stop
