I require some ideas

I was going to say help, but my grandad told me never to cry help unless you reall need it, and as I really really need it...
Anyways I need some ideas, as I am trying to fill my A3(16.5 by 12inches) sketch book before I go back to college. I have been working in my A4(12 inches by 8 1/4 inches) one a lot as it is a lot less intimdating (not to meantion half the size). But all I seem to do under my own steam is Word and Image. You know Image comabined inti a picture, usually a poem for me, and however much I like doing it, I don't think I''m getting enough practise drawing.
so I have come to you, my friends to ask for one or two ideas of what to draw, as I don't find anything in my room inspiring to draw. I have thought of "reinventing" something. REinventing for anyone who doesn't know, is taking something simple like an eye and drawing it in new and creative ways. I have started doing it for a rocket I'm doing for "Matt goes to the moon" but I use my A4 one to put together ideas for my poetry pictures.
but what do you all think I should do? please, I really don't ahve a clue.
On a side note, I was ill over the weekend, but I'm feeling better now

The amount of action scenes/wandering monologues/unique characters involved should provide endless amounts of illustrative inspiration!

If handled properly, an illustration of one of the war poems would be interesting, but very difficult to handle with the respect and tact needed.

You are right, there is plenty to do in the Academy... hmm I will have to think about it after some sleep, I'll probabilly end up with hundreds of rough sketches to keepme going for the next 8 years
I don't know much about illustrating anything to do with war, especially with tact, that I and I have a lot of my own poetry to work on... but I will think about it, thanks for the ideas so far guys

Whenever I've read it, I've always thought of a cricket match in a field of Poppies

I want to go up to Glasson Docks, I know its not the same as a millitary port, but its better that the old P&O stuff at Fleetwood, now owed by Stella...
Thats why I thought the river, they have a lot of old smalloish boats there, I will have to stop thinking about it and just go... I might take Anthea with me, so then I am not alone...

It's no all Naval vessels we do get ferry, pleasure craft, a good view of HMS Warrior and a fairly good view of Victory too

the ferry at fleetwood is deaded, the pleasure craft at the river are always moored, never seen one out at all
I do like naval vessels, I went to see the HMS beaver when I was about 4 I think, my dad got me partially interested in miltary history and when I get really good, I'm supposed to do some illustrations for him for a magazine sounds scary
