Hi Kham!
You're not thinking of leaving hootoo, are you? You killed off your character in the Shadow Realm, and Lycan isn't looking too healthy. What's going on?

No, I'm not thinking of leaving just yet...
I killed off Kham in the shadow realm, because I can't find the time to read the blog or keep up with the story... I'm not the most original poerson when it comes to story lines...
Lycan is getting old, so then I can explore a different sort of character...
he has been using a lot of powerful magics recently... and he didn't sacrifice enough life to bring them about... so it took his own... He needs life to make life....
he won't get too much older, I don't really trust his successor.. *coughs* so he won't be dying, but it will bring about some changes in his life...
he has actually been hiding it for years, but there comes an age where you can't hide you age any longer though he will always appear older than he is...
as he is late 30s I think... but he now appears what 70?
I have cut down a lot on unessential pages... MOTMV and I have been giving up lurking too... when I'm not at college, I'm supposed to be working on what I ahve done there... and I have done a bit today... but not very much, just a self portrait and a continuous line drawing
At the moment, I'm on as I am scanning in some images for contextual studies and I can use the text off the images for my graphic design

Whew!
Just so long as you're not cutting out on us!
Pity about the Shadow Realm- but I understand about the blog!
Glad school is going well- I've been crazy busy myself- multitasking as we speak.

I would have written a journal entry if I were cutting out completely
well as I can't really get on in the day... and this is my only week day off college at the moment... and also the day I do homework as well as saturday... though staurday will probabily doing what I like in my sketch book, which means I have to think what I want to draw... might go down to the river and draw a boat
I never knew artists had to do so much work... I work more now than I did when I was at Uni studying Chemistry... maybe thats because I'm doing things out of class except the assignments

Glad you're keeping busy anyway!
I've been doing calculus, and field work, and trying to put a presentation together for next week.
I've also been trying my hand at portraits, and I'm getting pretty good...

Khamsin Posted Oct 14, 2004

Neither can I!
I might submit the one I did of a guy sleeping in class for a contest, though. I like it a lot.

If I remember, I'll try to steal the department scanner on Monday, and let you see it. It's just a pencil sketch, but I like it a lot.
Neither have I!

I won't ask how many pencils you used... I used 3... I will get told its too few you know

Scandrea Posted Oct 15, 2004
I think I used four, maybe five...
Actually, it was Calculus that he fell asleep in. I was bored to tears myself, so instead of sleeping, I made a quick rough sketch, and drew the details in later.

Scandrea Posted Oct 15, 2004
Ugh... yeah...
I think what we're going over right now could be useful... if I could understand a blasted word of it!

Khamsin Posted Oct 15, 2004
How deep into Calculus are you?
I only dd upto matrices in the first term of uni... which was supposed to eb a refresher... though only if you did two maths A-levels

Scandrea Posted Oct 15, 2004
We're a bit beyond that now- doing partial derivatives and stuff in 3D.

Khamsin Posted Oct 16, 2004
you remind me why I never did the second A-level in it... or carried on past the first term... that was second term work
My brother is scary, his degree is in Maths...
