Traveller in Time doing some backup reading
"To be honest none of these ring bells.
But I am really bad at names,
I recognise people by how they walk
or how they talk.
With me, one process has most focus,
Noisy background thoughts try to disturb
errors showing unexpected relevance."

I wasn't really trying to get to 42, I was just trying to get something done with this paper... but I think that I'm with this paper for tonight. I think - though I do not really trust my brain to think straight at this moment, of course, I just keep doing it out of habit - I think that I will shove all the books away, and go to sleep. Finally.
It is now almost 4am *deja-vu* so I have now been up a little over 42 hours. Or a lot over. Don't trust me on that one, I can't remember what time I woke up when I did. AND I'm rambling.
I'm off to sleep. Good night, or morning, or whatever.

See you."

Hi Count Zero, you still around? I've been trying to have lucid dreams lately. Whenever I find myself in a dream like situation, or indeed whenever I can remember to check, I look at my watch twice. If the time matches both times, I know I'm awake. I've managed to have a few lucid dreams, but I can't stay lucid very long. I wish I had one of those gadgets that you wear that flashes a red light when you go into REM sleep. That would be cool. I am very into dreams anyway, I write them down almost every day. Sometimes, if it's an interesting dream I will post it on h2g2 too. I have had many dreams where I could not read, because the words kept changing. But I have had a few rather amazing dreams where I *could* read while dreaming. In one I went into the future and looked at a book that I had written in the future. I went lucid in that dream, and read certain passages over and over, so that I would remember them when I woke up. But I still forgot most of what I read.
PS Hi Lady Pennywhistle, glad you are getting some sleep finally!!

Yeah, I'm up, but my first class is at 12:30 so there's still some time before I leave the house.

Yes, JellenJ, I'm still around. Although I'm trying to become more of a tall skinny!
Lucid Dreaming becomes easier the more you do it. I wouldn't spend any money on any gadgets though.
::Notices no eyeballs beside Lady Pennywhistles nick::
Here's hoping you are out of your classes, have no pressing engagements for the next 12 hours and are darn near comatose in your comfy bed.
