Transcendental Primism
I am a Transcendental Primist.
Transcendental Primism is simialar to Agnostic Primism (talk to Agnostic Primist at U237011 for more details.). However, there are some significant differences. The main ones are as follows:
Agnostic Primists think thaat everyone should fight the Conspiracy on their own for their own good.
Transcendental Primists think that that goal is unrealistic. They think that those who actually fight the Conspiracy must do so in ways that will help all of society because most people won't help themselves by fighting the Conspiracy on their own.
Transcendental Primists are Primists who commit themselves to finding ways to fight the Conspiracy throughout society and not just in their own lives. They feel that the best way to do this is to select some cause or causes that they will support because they feel that these causes are good for society in general.
Furthermore, Transcendental Primists feel that, no matter how hard a nation my try to be democratic, some type of special-intrest group or organization will end up having control of the government. As this is true, the best one can hope for is that those who end up being practically in charge of the government are those who will act in the interests of society and not just in their own personal interests.
The best leaders, then, would be those who have managed to fight the Conspiracy until it has very little, if any power over them. These persons would b the least likely to use power to support their own purposes. Thus, Transcendental Primists belive that it is their duty to try to transcend the Conspiracy, that is to free themselves from it totally and to then try to find ways to control governments, either from within or from the outside in a way that will benefit society.
Because their goal in Primism is not merely to increase their freedom by escaping the Conspiracy's clutches, but also to try to transcend it so that they can act in the good of society and not just follow the dictates of the Conspiracy, Transcendental Primists feel that theeffort to avoid Conspiracy-motivated behaviors is more important than Agnostic Primists generally do.
