I haven't seen Edmonton since '84. And forgot that winter catches them strenuously and seriously by now. Ah well, it is all part of the job, and so I shall go. 'Tis only a week.

It's hard to believe that I used to think this was "normal", when I lived and worked 3 hours drive north of Winnipeg. But then, I adapted from autumn righ into the winter.
And WAS only 22 years old.

I moved directly from St John's, Newfoundland, to Gypsumville, Manitoba. Imagine THAT adaptation !!! I think the bottomless keg of draught 
helped a lot though.
