Ya. So what are you up to?

Ummm, officially "working", of course. I've just wrapped up nearly two years of fixing various radio recievers, and now have to tool-up for transmitters. Oh whooo-hooo.

hmmm, sounds fun.... *looks at radios and scratches head*

In case I hadn't mentioned, I fix military radio stuff, that's made for really long distance communications. So it's beyond "industrial" grade stuff, and often, much older than you.

Sounds like a hard job.......I had to try and fix an old radio for shop class one year....lets just say it worked better before I tryed

The first one or two will take some time and head-scratching. After a time, you either develop an instinct and a knack for it, or you take up a different trade. I have nearly *ahem* 30 years of working with a lot of different types, sizes and ages. And radar stuff. And computers, big radar display consoles like you see in "Defcon" type movies, ... loads of stuff.

Wow thats pretty cool.

Mostly, I can honestly say that "boredom" is rarely a concern. No two things work exactly alike, ... And even of same-model stuff, no two will break the same ways. So the head has to stay working fairly well. I like challenges.

Im studying 2 this term.....And Im not happy right now....there was a workshop that wanted to go to for my Gaelic class...but I got up and it appears my voice is gone. And thats not good For a thing were its a speaking.

Oh hell, I am sorry, girl. It IS the weather and season ... I hope you can find a 2nd chance, ... somewhere and sometime down the road.
