I think i was born to be riled, of late everything seems to be out to get me, shop assistance, the car, my walking stick, one of my wellies (the left one) even two of my toes are right painful little buggers of late, so when i got a letter this morning, that took the biscuit, you know its going to be a right sw%*e of a letter when it arrives in a brown envelop, with the words printed on it "Open ameadeatly" and "urgent" in big black letter on the front, so as by way of ritual in our house its left till last, so i open it and inside theres a begging letter form, from one of the utilities companys, telling me that I owe them money, this company who i'm not one of their customers, is telling me to pay up or else, so on the phone i get! only to be met after half an hour of Mozart and computorised voices, a nice unhelpful girl who starts with the words, "and hows sir going to be paying today" strange girl i thought, so I tell her that i'm not one of their costomers and I think they have it wrong! She was confused by this and reverted back to her script, so i asked if there was someone else i could speak too, NO came the reply, so i told her again the problem, and still the same script came back, with the add on of you could pay on line if you wish! so for the third time I told her i was not one of their customers and have never have been, then came a OH so YOU want to join, NOOOOOOooooOOOOoooo thank you i just wish to sort out why you have sent me a letter and a bill???? then another person came on and asked if i had a problem, several i replied one of which is this letter that you sent me! salience for whaat was 30 seconds and then place on hold (Rackmanninoff this time) then a blokes voice poped up, I was asked to explain the problem yet again, to which he replied "and how is sir paying" I then pointed out that "sir" was "NOT A CUSTOMER AND WOULD NOT BE PAYING AND HE SHOULD SEE A DOCTOR ABOUT HIS DEAFNESS" and then he said he would look into my problem, and He was going to call me back (YEAH RIGHT) so i then said ok! thats nice thank you!
