What's Tiramisu and why the long spoon?
Trin Tragula Posted Sep 26, 2005
I have been off here between then and now - honest!
(Admittedly, not for any very great period of time )
You didn't miss much It all quietened down still further after you went - Wolfie finally stropped off at about 8

I'll have to remember that 8pm to 8am thing. I did consider posting in WJH, some nonsense about him, just to see if he bothers to read the backlog. I'm a bit under par today though for some reason
Didn't you mention a few posts back that you were going off line so you could get some things done today
Don't know why I'm laughing though, today's a bit of a write-off. I got to bed around 5.30, but then remembered that a friend was coming round at 10.30 . We did get the kitchen tidied up though . Since then I've been laying on another friend's porch in the sun talking cr*p. Trying to decide now whether to have a nap or if that'll completely stuff up my bodyclock (I suppose another way of looking at it is to have a nap so I'm well rested for another allnighter on hootoo
Also it's really sunny and warm here today. I keep thinking I can't lie down on such a beautiful day. But then I'm inside now on the computer

Wolfie? Backlog? I'm not sure he knows such a thing exists. The nonsense would be good for the rest of us, though
Sorry you're under par (below par? I've never understood what golf has to do with it ) - lying around on a friend's porch talking crap ... isn't that heaven? Some sort of non-denominational version of it, anyway
>>rested for another allnighter on hootoo<<
Ooo ... ooo ... that's *lethal*. I seem to have been doing that all week and now my bodyclock is completely stuffed. Term starts and I'm back to work next week, so I'm going to have to get it sorted out. May have to cut down on hootoo a bit.
Nooooooo .....

Those friends have the *best front porch for miles - sunny, cracker view, an abundance of couches and chairs
Back to work eh? That's a bit of a worry. Can you hoot at work? Or maybe you need to get h2 moblie
Under par - not only do I not understand what golf has to do with it, I also don't understand golf itself. At all. In any sense.

Well, technically I can hoot (I like that!) at work. But timewise it's not easy
Golf is a bit lost on me too. I was sent out to a course to have a go once, when I was in school. All I brought back from it was the image of a lot of very grumpy retired colonels shouting at me for standing in the wrong place. Easily done apparently - you're supposed to let them 'drive through' or 'tee up' or something like that

The closest I've gotten to a golf game is watching a movie with Renee Russo and what's that guy out of Dances with Wolves? Sweet movie though.
I do have some distant memory of crossing a golf course and finding magic mushrooms, which we immediately picked and took with glee. I wonder if the Colonels know what all those hippy freaks are doing noses to the ground.
>>But timewise it's not easy<<
I do seem to remember you disappearing for rather large tracts of time when busy at work . You are going into winter though, yeah? so there's all those long winter nights to take advantage of

Tin Cup As Kevin Costner films go (my sister used to be a bit of a fan and she made me watch pretty much all of them) that's one of my faves.
Long winter nights with a roaring hootoo in front of which to warm my hands That sounds pretty good.

Bit bored to tell the truth. I mean if I'm reading the backlog on the Schiavo thread it must mean there's not much else happening. Poking a stick at Della is a bouns I guess
I have decided, after reading 3 or 4 pages, that Ben is the person to lurk when I 'm bored and after some intelligent and satisfying convos.
No more late nights for me
Actually I'm trying to decide whether to go to town or go lie in the sun. Hard choices *sigh*

Oh yeah, really tough It's *freezing* here!
I don't think I've read more than 10% of that thread: just went round and round and round ...
And who pops up to give it another spin? Well, Anhaga technically, but Della could have just read it and moved on.
What am I saying? She *never* does that!

I'm not sure about Della saying she got ousted for 3 months. I thought she got suspended for 2 weeks (and Hoo 4 weeks). I was going to ask her, but then really what's the point
I haven't read from where the thread got ressurected. Is it worth it?
So, who's going to get post 10,000 in WJH?

1. None at all
2. No
3. Me!
Actually, I don't think I'll be around for it Going to have to be awa' for a few days - I'm moving flat tomorrow. I'm supposed to be doing some last minute packing right now, in fact.
It's not going well

But look at that - your lights are still on after 9 hours
That was a bit mean, posting only my exit. I *was going to post but then I looked at the time and I'm trying to be good and not have really late nights - I sensed the possiblity of getting sucked into an allnighter...
Saturday morning and I have to go to town to return DVDs. Still, I might find something interesting to do while I'm there Maybe I need some goodies to go in the new fridge

They were off for a bit, to be fair. All right, not for very long
I've been trying to cut down on the late nights myself. Had a very heavy week this week and the temptation just to keep hootooing is very strong ... but I'm going to be good
Is the fridge not already heaving with goodies? I've got the remainder of a Tesco's 'Finest' tiramisu in my fridge right now.
Bit disappointing, actually I was expecting a deluxe taste-sensation supremo tiramisu, but it's a bit bland.
(They lured me in with the sheer bulk of the thing: it's like a big bucket o'tiramisu ... but it turned out to be a case of never mind the quality, feel the width).
Key: Complain about this post
