I've since found out that it's the in-phrase for snorting coffee/tea/liquipritt through your nose when you hear something funny. Started on The Archers messageboard, apparently.
Terribly witty, those Archers fans

Yeah, nice grannies are the worst. One minute it's tough talk on the doorstep, next thing you know you're on the sofa in front of Antiques Roadshow feeling queasy on a toffee overdose
