ego
Any personal introduction must be dominated by the self, but my ego is of the most uncontrollably rampant variety. On several occasions now I have striven to tame it, but such are its manifold powers that it has repeatedly eluded my most desperate of efforts. But what right have I to meddle with such a beast, as it sweeps all before it in a maelstrom of self-glorification.
