I know.
A friend of mine first visited the US and stayed with an American family, she really wanted to say "ta da i ma (Japanese)" when came back to her host famil from language school, then she thought, thought, thought and thought, then...
She said "I'm Home"
Well, I'll leave soon as I've got 2 s' classes this afternoon (Midnight in UK)
BTW,
How do you say when you ask to your kids, friends,... of cutting cake, bread and you want to know how many pieces of cakes/bread or how much "size" of them??? cos, mooonranger, you told me that we often made mistake using "how much".... Please give me some examples
Jackie, I'll write you soon,

Japanese people often mix how much and how many but If you can count them ie bottles then its how many bottles if its milk then how much milk but I really don't want to talk about the english language I just want to use it ,sorry taamyu

Jackie.
The thing is that my friend asked her boy when he told her he'd love to have chocolate bread, she said to her "How much?", then I suddenly remember that you, Anoldgreymoonraker told me about that then to make it clear and make me more sense in English, I'll ask you, and Jackie
I know, you don't like to talk about English as a Language matter, of course, I KNOW!! But if you could help me time to time, that would be wonderful That is I, I, I, I, I, I, I!!! [ai ai ai ai ai] who don't want to misuse English
Even nobody is here at home, I OFTEN, .... recently always, I say "I'm home" or "J'arrive(French)" when I open the door fo my flat coming back home.... lol Nobody say to may anything,
So, I say to myself, "Hello, well done...!!!"
Such a fun to say to myself, murmuring Taamyu

I was afraid that "chocolate bread" didn't make any sense in English. And it IS
I tried to search with online free translation site and checked it....
Not sure if it showed the correct word, but it said "pastry with chocolate filling"
it's not a chocolate cake, the material is of bread, then on the prossess of making bread, they add or cacao powder kind of material... I suppose.
Hope this make much better for you to figure out what it is like
grrrrrrrr grrrrrrrr I don't want contact/talk with s' mothers My friend who basically take this part of this, couldn't be here today, so that I had to talk with a mother .... She asked loads of question... very boring, nonsense question... why I mark(make a cirlcle on a letter that wrote (cos she couldn't write proper "a", so I make a circle one of them which she wrote very well )) Then her writing "b" was very very bad, so I repeated to her how to write "b".... Then after the class that mother asked Why I explained about it writing/indicating on the white board
I hate this kind of thing.
I was about to screaming, or to speak to her English ONLY lol. or could be FRENCH.
Mostly I enjoy the current work, but cos my mental problem, I won't talk with their mothers (that is my friend's part....)
Anyway, this kind of tester course has finished THIS YEAR
So, I may enjoy the rest of classes, hopefully.
soooooooooooooo many things that I don't know how to explain/tell about English as language....
I'm sure I enjoy chatting, studying English alone more than that kind of teaching work.... BUT at the mo, NO WAY
All I think is to take care of MY HEALTH(esp. mentally. too much stress will make me worse)... and if I can enjoy that, no problem, otherwise I have to think what will be the more suitable thing to work for me.... I'll see anyway
So, all of them are my "brian"

I think you mean 'pain au chocolat' for the chocolate bread - we call it pain au chocolat in England too.
BOOOOOOOOO
Cyzaki Posted Apr 19, 2006
Not really, we call it pain au chocolat because it's a French food. We say baguette too, although some people call it French bread or a French stick.
