Century Child
Hail,
I am Century Child, which is of course my real name.(OK, not really, but I can dream).
I am 'ahem' years old, very female, and living in north London, near to, but not near enough to, my good friend Caroline, aka Daraline (see below).
I have recently been introduced to this good site and you good (if a bit bonkers) people by my close friend, Caroline, keeper of unusual pets...and stuff. I personally can vouch for Caroline's strange taste in animals, having been forced to sleep next to a snake one night, (and not doing a very good job of the actual sleeping part).
I have also recently been introduced to HitchHiker's Guide, by my good (and beautiful; no, really!) partner . He did this by the sneaky insertion of a BBC audio CD of said book into the stereo. I was somewhat miffed initially, not to be hearing one of my favourite bands; but soon warmed to the idea and heartily enjoyed what I heard.
So here I am. I'm not totally convinced I know what I'm doing here, but I'm sure you will give me guidance. Daraline tells me you are all soooo nice. Am I supposed to write something entertaining and add pictures? Gods help me!
So, what should I tell you? I suppose I should share something...Music seems a popular subject...well, my thing is also Metal and Rock ( and yes, I know we are not German, but these titles DESERVE to commence with capital letters!). In particular I enjoy the sounds of Tesla, Riverdogs, Skid Row, Judas Priest, Crue, Cinderella, Twisted Sister, and the like, but have fairly recently discovered the massive joy that is Power Metal and operatic metal.
I also love dodgy horror movies, Disney (especially Monsters Inc.), and reading about serial killers and any other murder that really happened. I mean, what drives people to do these things? That's the really scary part! On the whole, I hate television, unless there is a decent documentary on forensics or history. Or a Dogtanian cartoon. Or Allo Allo.
In my real life I am a trainer for a high street bank, which does not deserve to be named .
I'm certain I have lots more interesting and delightful things to share with you, and in time, and given a few days to learn how this all works, I may be able to update this page. If it never happens, I assure you it's all down to sheer technophobia; please don't be offended.
Oh, by the by. Never, ever, under any circumstances, call Caroline 'Carol'. I witnessed someone do this once. He left with no teeth .
Warmest Regards,
Century Child (Oh, OK, Lyndsey).
