Hi Greydesk,
You'd better stay quiet then! The date in my diary is the date it's planned to go up on the servers, but they won't launch it publicly until the following day. Both the h2 and DNA boards will be open for a while, we'd rather everyone didn't jump across at exactly the same time, for obvious reasons.

I've had what I thought was the likely URL for the new 606 messageboard in my favourites list for few days now.
And oh look, this afternoon it started to work
It's a bit empty admittedly, but hey it exists so that's good.

Traveller in Time figuring loged out
"The issue has been raised before and the comment was 'we are thinking about it'. Anyway not before October when all the message boards have been transferred to the DNA cluster.
My proposal was something like an icon on the Personal Space showing what site you are from. But a 'Home' button would be great too.
For what I understand of the plans the idea was/is to give every account the same properties, however I doubt if the (ex-) message boarders really would like to have a 'Home Page'/'Personal Space'/'Profile Area' .
I guess we will have to wait and see what the 'Powers' come up with. "

Hi Pheloxi,
Traveller's right, nothing will happen until the boards all move over. We're then going to start looking at personal spaces, but we haven't got any fixed plans in that area at all.
For the time being we're *really* tied up in the move.

SSO seems to be taking a right old pounding at the moment.
It took me half an hour to sign out and sign in on three accounts.

Hi
SSO was throwing a bit of a tizz. It's not new registrations - yet - it was just having a wobbly moment. I'm told that the SSO team have fixed it, so should be okay now.

I suppose someone had a quiet word in it's USB ports as to what was coming, and it got a bit panicked by the news

It should be scared, very, very scared!
We're just waiting on the 606 hosts now. We have the 'on' button ready and waiting, they're just getting their messages ready.

I guess I'd better go and update that communities page again. Leave it a few days now, and it gets *totally* out of date.
