How are you? Long, long time no see! 
I hope everything has been going well, what have you been up to?
There aren't too many of us old timers left around here now. Jimi X is still around, and Ginger from time to time and I did see maurading pillowcase flash through the other day.

Hi Peta 
I'm fine, but somewhat overworked (I guess that's the side-effect of leaving university for good and working without set lot of daily hours). Apart from that everything's really good. Just too much going on to spend any sensible amount of time at hootoo, alas.
Did my short roam though the Italics' pages really tell me that there is only one fulltime Ed on site these days? Budget's been cut?
How are you then? Moved to a "Senior" slot in "Future Media" (sounds somewhat 
to my non-native ears), I see. A lot of paper-pushing, meetings and little dealings with researchers and suchlike, I should imagine ,.. might (at times) be more enjoyable than dealing with the online mob, I guess
