I go through depression and I find it good to absolutely wallow in it until I'm ready to come out of the drudge and pick myself up again. The only way I can move on is to get tired first.

Hi Everyone,
Just to get you all back on the thread of this conversation - we must all learn to forgive the church and other religions who constantly attack homosexuals.
Religion is the accuser that stands night and day before God accusing us all, and since we are told that on judgement day we will all know who our accusers are, then you have all just passed judgemet day who is reading this, so Welcome to Pastures New, which will be published early next year.
Hell is a healthy place to be if you need to face your fears and prejudices, so those who have judged and condemned others will stand to benefit from a visit there. For those of you who are wary and have been constantly put down by others, take courage, heaven is just a prayer away and you will be welcome there.
"If the Truth sets you free, you will be free indeed."
Jesus of Nazerath
God Bless you all, whatever colour you may choose.
Tony.

Yes, that's true...but we must realise, that things are constantly changing around us, and we adapt to those changes. This reminds of a certain Danish king who thought he could hold back the sea, the same is true with the Destiny Church, the leader has turned the journey into some pointless crusade.
The point is this, the current bible is of the past, what is needed is a bible of the now.

RainbowMovement Posted Sep 13, 2004
The bible is indeed a testomony of peoples faith and beliefs over thousands of years. Today it is our faith that matters and through that we can build our own beliefs with the benefit of the wisdom of time, for through time, all will become clear, and the truth will stand among us.
If anyone would like to request a free signed preview copy of my book, "Welcome to Pastures New - The Journey." Please visit my page and write to the Rainbow Movement. I will have at least 100 to give away and they should be available before Christmas.
The only thing I ask in return is that you share your thoughts on the book with me and if you like what you see, then share it with other people.
Wishing you all every blessing.
Tony.

Look Tony, I'm already a Christian, it's just that I've been suffering from depression ever since the loss of my foster parents. A year later I turned to Christianity, hoping that it would give me something to look for in my life...it did so, but only for about a year. The thing is this, I've got so damn sick of hearing about all these pointless wars, people getting killed or dying, I've just tuned it out, love used to make the world go round, now it's just plain greed.
So, nothing matters anymore, give me a reason to start caring?

The important thing about life is what we contribute to make it worth living and if everyone gave in, where would we be? There are horrible things happening all over the world and these things have always been happening. With the media we are more aware of the suffering and people are able to do more harm to one another than never before.
If you think of the suffering that just a few people caused in 9/11 and more recently in the School in Russia, do you not think that just a few people determined to do good could do something that will have a positive affect on our world?
We can all make a difference, but only if we are willing to try, and thousands of people, even millions do that every day. You have carers who care for the sick and disabled, volunteers working to help others in many different way.
Not everyone is out to make a quick buck at the expense of someone else, but yes, greed is something that taints our world. You have only to go to a restuarant where you pay one price and can eat all you want. People will fill their plates and go back for more and yet they do not need all that food, they just want to get their monies worth.
There will come a time in everyones life that we all see the pointless and selfish ways that we have lived. It is then when we can really make a difference. You sound as if you have reached that point and so why give up - go and make that difference.
Wishing you every blessing.
Tony.

9/11 could have been prevented, they were warned 3 years in advance of that event...did they do anything? The plain answer is no, they didn't. Could something have been done to prevent this, yes. Airport security tightened, more stringent security checks...none of this happened, giving Bush a reason for this pathetic war. If you ask me, he wanted this to happen.
A positive affect on our world. Yeah, if people actually stopped and seriously thought about what they're doing to it. (switches to Paganistic attitudes) We live on this world, every single one of us, yet people are raping it, regardless of the massive consequences it has in the long-term.
Look, we could just sit here debate away for however long it takes. The point is that us, as a species, is incredibly destructive.

*looks wide-eyed, grinning* I demand a debate! *gets popcorn*

RainbowMovement Posted Sep 14, 2004
Certainly we do need to discuss whether we can encourage people to find the positive within them, and I can assure everyone I am not trying to convert people to my way of thinking, only to share my faith and my journey of discovery. It is up to everyone to make their own journey and to find the beauty within themselves and others.
I will be back but I am going off line now why I have some work done to the study. I will be back early next week I hope.
All my Love,
Tony.

Truth...as Christians (or as I like to put in philosophical terms, brothers), we can only help people so much, but it is up to them to help themselves in the process.

That's OK. And now to business...I've been noticing that things in my life are finally looking up, all I know is that I'm coming out of myself a whole lot more. To be honest, I've a feeling that God is at work in my life, but I've had to go through 13 years of cr@p, to get where I am now, the thing is, that during that period, I was literally isolating myself from everything, and now this! I'm talking to new people, making friends, and now having a social life.

RainbowMovement Posted Sep 28, 2004
You only have a feeling that God is working in you? He has always been with you through all the crap as well and you are on the journey home to a deeper spirituality with God.
God Bless.
Love, Tony.
