America should have voted Kerry. It's as simple as that.Bush was a crap leader. And you only deserve a second term in office if you're a good leader...getting hundreds of their guys and gals killed ain't a good leader.
Bush is in favour of abolishing same-sex marriages(hello, what centuary do we live in?18th?),the death penalty(having it,not abolishing it)(mind,so was Kerry, but that was the only way they were gonna get the Southern votes, and it's like bull-fighting in Spain and Portugal - it's been there too long,it ain't gonna go easily),and he supports that religious sect that wants all girls to swear an oath that they won't have sex until they're married(again, what centuary? His poor daughters. If I was them,I'd run away). It's none of their business if a girl has sex before she's married.I mean think about it,back in the Victorian-era,you weren't allowed to divorce, unless you were really really rich.So how the hell was a girl to know what to expect? She didn't,hence all those unhappy marriages.
Blair,I think, would be a better leader if he could get out from under Bush's thumb?Anyone seen that George Michael video, where Blair's basically Bush's fetch-dog?Uh huh.
I'd vote him out,if I could(underage for another three years),but I don't see anybody in Parliment who'd do better.Better the devil you know,I say.
(Tommy Sheridan is a good speaker, charismatic and all that, and a lot of what he says is true, but he's a bit too fanatical for my taste.I'm a bit of a Royalist - just a bit, mind!)
But I guess we're stuck with Bush now for another four years.*sighs and starts counting down the days till the next election*

Speaking of that George Michael video.... 2DTV is back next week....
As for Blair before Bush... well there's a few things against the PM before 2000. Most people had overlooked them though till this Iraq thing...
What's more stupid is the people that don't vote at all. With 'regular' votes going down and radical people still voting we're possibly going to have a facist or communist government by the next decade.

And? I say we have a proper good dictatorship. We havent had one of them in awhile. Maybe that'll work.
At the end of the day no ones ever going to run a country exactly right. Theres always some bugger wanting to oppose them or have power for themselves.

We've never had a dictatorship.
Kings/Queens don't count.

Asmodai Dark (The Eternal Builder, servant of Howard, Crom, and Beans) Posted Nov 7, 2004
You could call William a dictator. Okay so hes french but we cant hold that against him.
And being king seems only a fancy title, so if saddam was king, or if Bush was King Bush it would make sod all difference.

There's a difference between William's autocratic monarchy, and Sadaam's totalitarian dictatorship y'know.

William (Saddam) and his loyal followers (Fedykin, Republician guard, current Loyalist 'Terrorists') take over the country with the blessing of a rulling power (Think the pope said it was good for Will, in Saddams case i think it was America, or you could say the weapons were a method of blessing his leadership, i digress).
Theres a uprising in the north of England (Iraq some place). Williams solution? Butcher every man woman and child within so many miles of the rebellion. Effect? No one rebels because there to scared or cause there dead.
It depends how you feel about life. Personally the good of others rather than the good of the self comes first. Think about how much more effective society would be if people were forced to conform to a set rules enforced by one leader? I mean big groups of scallies on street corner is solved two ways. A curfew could be imposed, with boot camp punishments (Probibly working in some state run production). When people leave high school have them, within six months, get a job or go college or join the forces. What happens? Well the army trains them up to be productive members of society, College creates soliciters etc, and people go into a job have the freedom to do what they wish as long as they stay in work for 6 months. That way everyone gets experience and a job doing something, and you dont see 30 year old scallies walking round the steets with a bottle of white lightning with his mates and fifty kids, cause he'd be in the army and the kids would be in boot camp
Yes it takes away freedom till your 18, at least when you come out you can have a safe bet that they'll have done something productive at least.

Ah but trolling could double up as flamming if its done to start an arguement or done in a manner that would cause a reaction from the person its directed at...

It was a measured opinion based on your nightmare Orwellian plans for the future, if you want to be precise.

Rome had complusory service, so did the Spartans.
Can you honestly say the gangs of scallies (young and old) and the like that sit on street corners enjoying there cider and chucking fireworks are a benefit to society?
Instead put them into work, if not by force then into the forces. The army/navy/airforce would provide board and lodging for the new recruits, and in return they learn skills like mechanics, enginneering and all the rest.
Those that go into a job directly are no problem. They have become productive and do things rather then chuck fire works.
Those that go college (probibly have some form of test though to stop colleges being swamped) will then, in theory, go on into either university, or into a job.
Solution? Maybe. It seems to work better then having people attacked. I mean there was a report on the BBC tonight about the police force. In it, a group of three lads dressed all in black pulled there hoodies up and those neck things so they couldnt be seen (how friendly) and then a group of about ten or so were stood around a street corner (clearly a boy scouts feild trip, totally innocent of course).
All would have been either working or in the army. Preferably in the army. Now lets see how many come home with a the idea of smashing things up (mainly because they would have a part in creating some of it - make them do grunt work).

Am I the only one that sees the problems with supending people's human rights, forcing them into the military and training scallies to use heavy duty weaponry? They're a menace, so lets arm them!!!

a lot of good and well meaning people go into the forces, dont fill them with criminals and give the desent people there a bad name because of there other comeradies
