h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Just to set the record straight :-

1) Yes I admit I never left your dojo. Reason - my PC was down for about 3 weeks and when I got back on line I couldn't be bothered to check where I had been previously so I resumed at TW's Training Ground. As far as I'm aware that's the only time I've ever broken continuity. Please feel free to quote other examples if you can find them.

2) The "...plonker or plant" convo was posted to Psycorps' "My Space" (just as this is posted to your's) and, therefore outwith the scope of the game and its continuity rules.

3) The "TARABENA upgrades" convo is in my journal and I can post to that anytime I like, with or without your permission - thank you very much.

4) Who are you to decide which planets exist and which don't? If I want to be from somewhere you've never heard of, I'll be from there and if you don't like it you know what you can do.

If you have any further comments to make about me, make them here. At least it will keep some of your c**p out of the game.

2) Yes i know that, and i never said that it wasn't. But i detest people who back stab, and that was a very good backstab young puppy. Problem is stuff like i'll back you up should be said in charecter, for simplisities sake.

3) Technically you cant. Just as i cant magically appear in my ship and give it some weapons systems before reappering in my/gr'jar's dojo. If i wanted to do that someone else would have to be there, hence why if i want something done by my droids etc then i either leave them set orders to follow or send them a message. That way i dont break continuity.

4) Well, feel free to make up your own planets, but as someone recently said trying to be a clever pup:

You live on a planet called EARTH. This is a GAME. Thats why i worry about you. Your personal space is devouted to this, and only this. Go get some help pup.

Anyway i'm bored of this now pup, feel free to magically appear in my training ground again, or how about just appear on endor and attack the base thats been hidden by all but co'bal, anytime you have a disagreement with me so we can sort this out in charecter because i'm sick of people doing stuff like this out of charecter because there cowards, like yourself pup. You wouldn't dare say any of this in charecter.

1) I've already said why I didn't leave your dojo and started again in TW's TG. I refer you to TW's TG post 148 where I left the training ground to go the Council Chamber.

2) OK. Maybe I should have done that in character.

3) The TARABENA upgrades post in my journal space was part of a series of comments I put down for my own use. The actual upgrades were done on the ship posts in the hangar. I would have thought that any comments in a journal space would be done out of character.

4) I know where I live and that this is a game. I sometimes wonder if you do!

I created this character solely to take part in this game. It is just one of several I have created for other scenarios. I do this because I want to have a competely new character to build - I don't want other players to have any preconceived ideas about how I am going to react in any given situation.

Since I am not using my real identity as a background, I have to invent one. Isn't that what role-playing games are all about?

OK. Let me state my position and see if we come to some agreement.

I 100% agree with sticking to continuity. I have played in HPB's games before and I know he is a stickler for it. I made one mistake and suddenly you are making it sound like I'm popping up everywhere like a Jedi jack-in-the-box.

I'm not looking for confrontation with ANY of the "good guys" in this game, I only want to develop my character as I see fit and hopefully add something constructive to the story.

I can't work out your character's motivation (and I don't expect you to explain it to me or anyone else - I wouldn't explain mine). He seems to be hellbent on causing trouble and unrest. Maybe you've got some ulterior motive. Maybe you're a double agent. No doubt we will find out sooner or later.

I didn't like the way you were going for Annat so I offered my support as I believe, despite his uncoventional style, that he can control his dark side and be a powerful force for the "good guys". Maybe I went about it in the wrong way but it seemed right at the time.

This situation between us is not good for the game. We have to come to some agreement that we can both live with. As I see it we can :-

a) bury the hatchet (not necessarily in each other's back) and stop sniping at each other,
b) ignore each other (which might be difficult if we have to work together),
c) continue with the bitching and snide remarks (in which case I will withdraw from the game).

I look forward to your constuctive comments and/or alternative solutions.

1) Yes i've seen that post. If you desperately desperately have to leave a room to go do whatever, then at least tell the person that your leaving. 'time stands still' while ancha goes and does some backstabbin.

2) Yes you should have pup, but your a coward plain and simple, so i guess you can get away with it.

3) 'a series of minor a adjustments' is what you said in charecter, when in your journal you refit most of the ship. Whats to stop you adding better sheilding at any time out f charecter and simply saying it comes under the previous 'minor adjustments'

4) I dont quote from planets that dont exist in REALITY.

You do appear to be popping up everywhere. No offence but i left our training because you were gone for so long and i had better things to do. You seem to leave training when ever you feel like a good backstab. Thats your option. And im glad your developing your charecter to be a good backstabber, sith are like that pup.

As for my charecter its my buisness. If you'd actually read the posts properly then you would have realised that my charecter is a puritan through and through. Hellbent on destroying nastyness and people who use darker aggressive powers (hence annat rivalry, but you've thrown your lot in with him, so another hereitic to burn)
As for controlling the darkside powers, the point in there being two seperate lists is that one cant control the other. Hence the hunting and the tracking, but you didnt care to read those bit did you pup?

I dont snipe often pup, there's no point, especially when your charecter has a lightsabre. If you want to withdraw from the game then thats your option, personally i dont care. B sounds the best option. Personally i just dont like you, and i eegerly await the day when you slip up. Being a hunter of hereitics gives my charecter the perfect excuse to 'hunt you down like a dog' puppy

1) You broke continuity by creating pre-imperial battle droids in an imperial facility, then communicating to them telepathically when they have no minds, if you want to nitpick . He missed a room out, so what, I missed space out once and the universe didn't collapse!

2) Calling someone a pup and a coward on the internet is sad. It's like my mate Craig says: "Arguing on the internet is like running a retard race. Win or lose, you're still a retard".

3) The time on the posting, besides, who cares! You can't actually die on here so it's all irrelevant. Besides, it's his ship and he can do what he wants, as can you!

4) Well this isn't reality. It's a made up universe on the internet! You do however quote from a person that doesn't exist (Puppet)!!

Your character, your business, his character (and ship!) his business! You don't make the rules, HPB does and he's not complained. And if you call him pup I'll resume calling you munchkin, much as me mam still does! Bwahahaha! And in the face of public opinion, it's not Ancha most wanted to withdraw from the game, so give it some thought before you have a go at the poor lad, all he did was have a chat to me and now you're hating him.

So either call this quits now, or carry on running your retard race!

I really dont care to be honest. As far as im concerned hes to deceptive and likes to back stab. If some one has a problem with me, then they should tell me, not go hide places where they can be found far to easily. As for what your friends think Andy, do you think i care? BTW about 1, i could create them anywhere, all i need is certain things to actually build them. They can be communicated with using the force, just as force supressors can be used to contain the force. All it takes is some form of receivor.

If a character does/says something, cope with it and re-adjust (unless it's blatant disregard for continuity), that's the point.
