Shameless Self-promotion
Greetings and salutations. My name is Derek Springer. Having been a frequent visitor to the Guide, I decided it was time to take part, if for no other reason than to add some meaning to an otherwise pointless and drab existence.
And now, a bit about myself:
I currently live in the state of Michigan, where I go to great lengths to appear much more impressive than I actually am. I am a practicing musician (although, after twenty-two years of doing it, you'd think I should have it right by now), a relatively unskilled writer (currently in the process of writing my first book), low-level computer geek (I know what the big shiny box is and how to make it go, but I have trouble getting it to work properly), and the father of three of the strangest children ever to grace the surface of the planet (but I wouldn't trade them for anything).
