It was without doubt the real thing! I had it mixed with cola so it was a long drink and it tasted lovely. Well for a few hours anyway! Yes, you really should write that entry. It has all gone quiet on my BB entry, not sure if that is a good or bad thing! Have you seen the bbc end of story competition? www.bbb.co.uk/endofstory
Looks quite good and I might have a bash at writing an ending for one of the stories, there are 8 choices. Will let you know if I do.

At least it was good tequila not that horrid 'mixto' that usually sells. I'm going to start some research, not too sure how much of the entry I could get done before I move, but it won't be but a few weeks until I'm connected again.
It's going to be at least a week before I move. I promised my boss that I would be able to work through next Thursday night, but I will have to stay on property starting Monday. Eh, it will be good to sleep in air conditioning again.
Good luck with the story!

Been thinking about you this weekend and wondering if everything is going to plan. I do hope so! How long do you reckon you will be offline? Not too long one hopes!

My research immediatly discovered a rather good edited entry on tequila. It then discovered an edited entry on every other type of alcohol that I know anything about (except the Old Fashioned). This site could make a rather good bartender with just a little effort.
So far my plans remain the same. I have to go see my PO once again in the morning for my monthly visit as well as to finalize my transfer. Where to is still a little vague, but I'm hoping that my logic will win the wicked witch of the bay to see things my way. Either way I'm off on a brand new adventure Friday the 7th! I'm hoping to be back online in just a few weeks, but that could take as long as a few months. I abhor dial-up connections now that I've been spoiled on cable, but I'll go back to that old phone line if it means I can connect reasonably sooner. By reasonably it has to be more than ten days sooner, otherwise I can hold out.
So how are things going for you? Inspiring, I hope. Made any decisions on what story to finish, or will you start your own? I'm betting it will be a good read anyway and look forward to seeing you back in the AWW.
Sleep dep sings it's siren song once again!

Just got online. Made it to Pensacola, FL just fine and the cable rates were reasonable. Being online on my own machine is so much better than having to connect at work, not that I can anymore. I've gone back to waiting tables for my rent, so no online time for me at work.
So how's hootoo been treating you this last month? Good I hope. I'll get around to catching up with my backlog in a few days, so you may be hearing from me in other threads.

Woo hoooo! You're back! I've missed you! Glad everything is okay, have been wondering how you were getting along. Things have been going great for me. The Body Beautiful made it through PR. Thanks for all your support there! Joshua is being featured in the UG. JWF is just about to feature another story which I think you will really enjoy and I have 4 more stories written, haven't put them up for review as yet but you can always check them out when you have time. And I entered the BBC endofstory competition, so I've been a busy girl! I talk a lot don't I, lol.
Glad you are getting settled and lots of luck in your new home. Lovely to see you here!

You've been a busy girl! I promise I'll read your new stories soon, I'm just working a lot during the weekends. I heard about the endofstory competition, is it listed with your entries? Maybe I should give that a try, I did pretty good trying to write an ending to 'The Lady or the Tiger'. That might just have been me.

Good morning, I'm up and about early today. Posted another story last night so trying to critique it again this morning with a fresh eye. Yes, the endofstory was a great idea, I picked the ending for a story called Dryad, about an old ladies love for a beech tree. Probably quite a feminine story but it was the one that appealed to me the most. Can't really post it here until the competition is over but I will put it here at a later date. Glad you are around, always good to see you, even though you used to think I was a guy, lol.

Glad you enjoyed the 'That certain something' entry. I have so much personal fun writing those type of stories, it makes me smile a lot when I'm writing them up. I think it might be featured in the CAC, or maybe I missed it and it already has been, not really sure.
So how is life with you? What's life like where you are? Are you settled in yet? Hope you are happy there.

I quite my job, then got another before the day was out. The new place is a cajun spot called the 'Orleans' that's a lot more upscale than my last job, and they aren't open for lunch except for Sundays. I started taking tables halfway through my first training shift. I think I'll do rather well there.
I read four of your peices right in a row and two really wowed me. The other was the story of the prostitute. It hit me like a Mac truck and I just didn't have any way to express the feeling. It was powerful to say the least.

I love the food in the Orleans, yummy Hope you enjoy working there and make loads of dosh! Glad you enjoyed the short stories. I'm attempting a bigger story in the background at the moment, trying to stretch myself a bit further, not sure what the finished result will be or if I will ever post it. I might take a break from that one soon and work on something different. I'd like to exchange e-mail addresses if that's okay with you, or at least give you mine, just in case I decide not to stay around here. Don't want to post my regular addy on here, but you can reach me at [email protected] Maybe I'll get to know your real name that way.

Snow White needs some punctuation and grammer polishing, but it's an interesting modern take on that tale. I never did like the story as I hate happy endings (too many of them in the movies, not enough in RL) but you definately kept my interest through it.
Why would you leave the addiction that is hootoo? We need you here, at least to add some spice to the UG, which it needs. Either way you'll be hearing from me at that email addy you gave me. I'll email you from my regular account (hotmail, but it's more constant than the rest of my life) with my hootoo name in the subject line.
Off to email.

Thanks for the mail. Hope my reply arrived okay. I've been back to the Snow White story and hopefully polished it up a bit. Writing that story took it out of me yesterday, haven't done too much writing today. Hopefully I'll have a go at something new tomorrow.

Just checked my email, and no reply made it to my inbox as of yet. I wasn't sure if you were busy or not so I thought nothing of it. I'm not too sure what happened, maybe just a delay with the servers. I do use a Microsoft disabled email site. I'll check again a little later, if you hear from me outside hootoo that means I got it, but I'm pretty sure it was eaten in cyberspace.
(wondering what an email tastes like, maybe like a nine volt battery touched to your tongue?)
I'm not online for too long tonight, just checking my messages then I'm off again, so I hope to get that email soon.
I hate microsoft.

Recieved and replyed. Thanks for the extra effort. Do you use MSN Messenger, ICQ, or the Yahoo IM client? I use this great program called Trillian that manages those three for me, and IM would be a little more efficient (not to mention relyable) than hotmail seems to be. If you do use any of those, and supposing you would want to chat, just email the info to me and I'll get it set up.

U645857 Posted Jun 14, 2004
Hi! Glad my mail finally reached you. I expect there was something up with the hotmail server which is quite unusual. Hotmail is normally quite reliable. I only tend to use yahoo messenger as a pager. If you would like to add silky_imagination and send me a message I can add you to my friends list, then we can live chat.
