NPY Posted Aug 31, 2006
he's the cardassian taylor that was exciled to DS9 after Dukat and co left. Was good friends with Bashir.

She's too good.
Like I said: He's a former Cardassian spy turned Exile turned Freedom Fighter. He has a very colorful past that he only ever talks about in periods of extreme stress, and even then he lies as much as he can about it. If you really wanted to know anything about him you'd have to watch the whole series.

Yeah. He's not in every episode and more comes out bout him as it goes on.
Yeah and think Kes can be very innocent/naive/too nice. But hey....

Though you have to admit that getting Wesley's job at his age would be great.

I feel so ambivilant about Wesley. I think he gets better as the series goes on..... But I can not stand the whole boy genious, smarter than the experts thing.

Maybe subconsciously...But I dont think so.
I just think its extremely unlikely. Besides, he still has alot of growing up to do. If I were captain I think I would slowly let him earn the privilage of being part of the bridge crew... Not that he didnt earn it, but I think he should have been tested in more situations. Besides...Realistically it would have caused big problems in moral and rivalry and things. It doesnt seem fair to the people who went through the academy and passed to be shoved aside. They deserved the position he was given.

No, I don't. Wesley's an idiot.
~*~Just because you're jealous?~*~
Because it doesn't make sense. Here we have this cohesive group of highly trained professionals, and we have this 14-year old child who's only education has been grade school; and he saves the day more often than any of them.

No........
But it's supposed to be reallistically set in the future, with Humans (as a species) not really that different. Besides. He's a sucking-up know it all.

It has to be believeable...Otherwise whats the point?
And I think calling Wesley a sucking-up know it all is perhaps a bit harsh...

That one where he gets in major trouble at the academy. Really that is the one redeeming episode. He actaully gets in trouble, doesnt have all the answers, does something wrong. Nice to know hes human.

But /he/ comes forward with the cover-up when the others don't....... That just makes him noble........

I think he only did that so he wouldnt loose any more standing in Picards eyes.
