I'm very much enjoying our arctic expedition - some polar explorers, in order to prevent getting lost in a sudden snowstorm, actually get roped up to each other and it's very much in that spirit that I popped round to ask if I might add you to my friends list. Hope that will be OK

And you don't really have to ask to put people on your friends list (I think) - I had a bit of a crisis about it a few months ago and there's a journal entry on my PS about the etiquette and so on and overcoming the imagined formalities

The whale may have to wait till tomorrow for me but I am looking forward to seeing where it takes us ...

what was the crisis? did someone get mad at you? i'd find it hard to believe that of someone on hootoo they all seem so nice.
