Hi!
Pardon a nosy Ohioan, but I noticed that you liked RPGs! Thought you might be interested in this one.

It's The Magicians' Guild, a group of heroes defending Imardin from orcs, theives, and evil armies! And it's currently taking up a good chunk of my time...
Interested? Hop on over and take a look!
Hope to see you there soon!

thanks.
i'm in the process of signing up. i wonder if its okay to be a guy character even though i'm a girl... i hope so. Whats a RPG?
The Magicians Guild
Scandrea Posted May 17, 2004
I think so... but I don't know why you'd want to!
RPG= Role Playing Game- Like the Assassins' Guild, or the Silver Sword. Yeah, I know, I lurk WAY too much.

guys are much better at looking sinister and menecing but actually being good. besides when girls have big scars on their faces its usually ugly but guys can get away with it. i want a scar... dont mind me if i overwhelm you with questions i've never done a RPG before. I've just started being active on here about a week ago and only really started to sign up for stuff today... i have no idea what i'm doing or what to expect.

That's cool- Whatever I can't help you with, I'll point you in the right direction, or at least give you a cup of !
You could have an Arwen-type scar on your cheek. That would be pretty cool if you were a girl.
And personally, I'm in the Healer class, and there needs to be more of us! Your decision entirely, I don't want to beahealer</> influence it in any way.

Arisztid Lugosi Posted May 17, 2004
oops sorry i signed up before you could influence me. otherwise i might have seriously considered it. sorry.
i decided to be a girl in the end. i might just not have a scar...
i love tea. do you have english breakfast and earl grey? they're my favorites. thanks. i'll be asking mass amounts of questions soon i'm sure.

Arisztid Lugosi Posted May 17, 2004
oh good my absolute favorite!!!
i prefer it to earl grey. whats your favorite kind of tea?
i like my tea with about a teaspoon of sugar and some creme. i think i mostly take creme so i can watch the little cloud it makes when you first pour it in.

i want to put the badge on my space but i cant untill i know my rank... so theres question number one.

Scandrea Posted May 17, 2004
We-ell you have to wait until Craxus comes online. He'll officially welcome you, assign you to a rank (probably apprentice), and invite you to come down to Imardin, the main page. After that, you're free to roam!
Have you read about continuity yet?
The Magicians Guild
Arisztid Lugosi Posted May 17, 2004
erm... no not yet actually....
where do i go to read about it?

Scandrea Posted May 17, 2004
Magicians' Guild rules and regs are here:

And info on continuity, the etiquette that makes all the RPGs go smoothly, go here:

Hope this helped!

*ahem*
Yayayayayayayayay!
Congratulations! You're officially part of the Magicians' Guild! Since you're an illusionist, you should probably head over to the illusionists training room first. It's on the Magician's Guild: Guild Hall page (You can get to it by following a link from the main page).
While you're at it, we have a badge that you can personalize with your name and rank and display on your PS. The code for that is in a link, also on the main page.
And don't forget to make up a guide entry with your character's bio when you have time! When it's done, post it on the join-up forum, and Craxus will edit it into the main page. Here's mine, at A2518517
Glad to see you joining!

wow i just got home from a carnival. it was really fun but also very small. you're so inspiring... i'm really looking foreward to making my page but i'm not so sure what to do for it. first i have to get into a creative mindset. i'll check out your page first and see what i need. then i'll probably write it out on paper (brainstorming and whatnot) during my spare at school, i dont really do much then anyway. and i'm going to a weding tomorrow after school so if i get bored i can always dream up ideas. i think better on paper then on a computer. i dont know why. i'm not sure whats expected on this thing so i'll go take a look at your page. thanks.

I think that's it...
If I'm wrong, go to the Magician's Guild main page, and scroll down to the location section. One of the links there will take you to the Guild Hall. In the threads will be whatever you're looking for. In fact, you can start up a thread for your room if you want.
This goes for all the other places you might want to travel to: the city, the other outposts, blah blah blah. Oh, and when you do get to traveling, please use the roads! It keeps things realistic.
The Magicians Guild
Arisztid Lugosi Posted May 19, 2004
thank you so much! what exactly do you mean my room? what roads? is there a posting of roads too, that would confuse me. or so you just say that oyu leave and then say you arrive somewhere else?
