Nope. Managing to avoid that. W*rking anyway. May go beginning Jan. as Hols w/b 8th Jan and 22nd Jan, so plenty of opportunity.

I was meant to go down yesterday but got sidetracked () so still have to brave Virgin (for pressies, includung a Barbara Streisand CD
), Victoria (everytime I say that word the Kinks' song pops into my head) and the chavvy sprog nightmare of the train (until it passes Rochester). Looking forward to the Faversham fag break though.

How longs the Journey. Did it one year... Took 4 and a half 
hours. Run out of beer by Faversham. Slam-doors. No Buffet car! Stopped at every Mickey Mouse station, like Shortlands, Teynham, Newington. Sheer waste of time, if you ask me.
Off to my local tonight, after a quick spruce of the flat. Finish around 18:00 tonight. Then up tomorrow around 09:00/10:00 as guests coming. Quick bath and vacuum, then off to the local for a couple of hours. Loads of booze in, but the Engineers who repaired my DVD/Home Cinema had to abort the drop-off as no one home. Mum delayed getting back from flat-sit, so no DVDs tomorrow. Just have to be Vids, I guess.

To be honest I probably won't get further than the Rose (assuming none of my mate's have been barred recently - always a possibility!) and maybe The Red Lion (where I played my first proper gig. And drank my first Tequila Slammer. Oddly enough they were both on the same night) as a good friend with a big house lives just around the corner.
Whatever i do I shall endeavour to enjoy it, but only 'coz you told me to.
