I see,I confess,it always seems lovely weather whenever I see something on TV about Japan ! I do know it's quite a mountainous country,very green.Rain must fall.Do you get a monsoon time ? x
e mails
Anoldgreymoonraker Free Tibet Posted Jan 26, 2007
We are supposed to get monsoons in july but for the last 3or4 years it's missed and the rainclouds run under Japan by about 100 kilos .
Yes this is a mountainous country but they are not tall mountains just sort of like sharp rocks everywhere.
these islands are quite new compared to europe etc

From the little I know of Japan Arnold,it looks a very beautiful country..One of my uncles was there a few years ago now.He reckoned it was the cleanest (most hygenic) country he'd ever visited ! Thats a HUGE compliment to any country coming from him ! x

It is a very clean country and I think we recycle more than any other country too .
Even when you flush the water going into the cystern goes in over the top so you can wash your hands ,I mean the cystern s top is indented with a hole in the middle with a spout above so as its refilling you wash your hands .
the washing machines have pumps and hoses attached to pump the water from the bath and all supermarkets have a collection zone for plastic bottles tin cans steraphone containers and cardboard milk cartons beer cans and glass bottles .
The garbage men come 2 times a week and once for plastic pickup .
also newspapers are picked up every month .
Women here try very hard to look good and smart so yes it does feel clean here
