I left home my village in 69 and went out of England in 75 ,I still keep in touch with family and friends .
I miss some food ie pastys n pies chip shops n pubs ,I miss summer evenings, short here, the birds singing, I am a country boy .
I have adapted to being here now, my home and family is here ,I listen to and watch the bbc here .
when I do go home it's to my village and I stay with a friend not family and usually stay for a month but by the 4th wk I miss this my home .So really I don't miss it so much .
The friend I stay with lives alone in his own house his girlfriend often stays over but they don't live together .He has a very good job and a really lovely home and quite a big boat 27ft one and he keeps my motorcycle in his garage with his bikes too so I have a japanese bike in england and an english bike in Japan.

i do have a brother and 2 sisters plus a sister in law still in england, and always go to see my sister in law the first morning home but after being away for 30 yrs, we are not so close a family anymore.
Losing my brother was a bit of a shock like the reaper has started on my generation now .
Got some sausages on their due date so I have just made up some batter for toad in the hole tonight with some roast veggies.
The weather is nice again no wind Taamyu misses all the nice days she should get out more.
