Who is Ropebender
In the first chapter of Restaurant at the end of the Universe, there is a line that goes "A magician wandered along the beach, but no-one needed him." I fell in love with Douglas Adams a second time for that line alone. Read all four books of the trillogy back when they first came out, read the "Detective Agency" books and then began to get busy, and havn't bothered to see if Mr Adams has written anything else at all.
I assume he has, and I read in the credits that this web site is partly his idea. Well good for him. It's a great idea. I am a game-player and a magician, a musician and a computer geek, a worker and a reader. Anyone that confused in his life has GOT to love this place.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
