Not to worry... Hi, BTW.
Yeah, you did, actually... Hmmm... well, Joff was sitting there when we arrived, so he really did it for us... Oh, that's great about your Spanish lesson... Does that mean you're getting the hang of it, then?
No problem... I completely understand. You need to practice in order to handle computers...
Hehe... I've had some training, that does the trick...
Well, I don't know yet. Depends on when you're coming, really... You don't have to say anything, just be yourself, I suppose (such a cliché, but still true)...
Well, they do... My family is full of giants, even by Norwegian standards... My sister, who is eighteen, BTW, is about your height, though, so you won't really stand out that much...
She certainly does... Is she still just as curious about who I am?
No problem. Yeah, she really liked the idea... She even suggested you stay for a couple of weeks... She trusts my judgement in the matter. I've told her you won't turn the house uspide down, so she'll be happy to take you in...
Quite long... I've never told you about all the times I've been walking in the mountains here in Norway, from one small cabin to the next... Without a lot of technology...
Hmmmmm. Why is that frightening? I mean, we don't usually go swimming naked, I can assure you of that... Anyway, we all go for a swim in summer over here, so no-one will notice you...

here we go again...
well yeah Spanish is going okay... some weeks are better than others y'kno? We were discussing unemployment today and the the whole class(well that's only 3 people) were all laughing when i revealed i didn't know what my National Unsurance
Number did... turns out it insures i pay tax in the future... damn...
"so you won't stand out that much"...*pouts*... but i wanna be the "wee foreigner" remember?!lol... there should soooo be a pout smiley...*wonders if there already is* hmmmmm...
Is my mum curious about who you are?(i've lost the thread on this one i think)... well yeah she is... i mean she's nosy at the best of times but she's being super-nosy just now!
oh i certainly won't turn the house upside down! Im rather tidy really.
och... nevermind! Im sure it'll be great.

Goot...
Hi!
Hmmmm... I dunno if we've got national insurance numbers over here... I haven't heard of it before anyway.
Not like that... Just wear a kilt and you'll stand out. Anyway, your personality is what matters...
Ummmm... I've probably lost the thread too... What fun. You could really wind her up, y' know?
Good, good... I'm not... I'm clean, but not tidy... Anyway, This'll be sooooooo fun!
Sure will, can't be helped.

hi!
Probably just a different system. Over here you get sent your National Insurance number through the post a few months before your 16th birthday... not much of a present i must say.
Well that sure is easy!
Well actually im the same... clean but not tidy... usually anyway... however in someone else's house im super neat! Im also as quiet as a mouse... your mother needn't worry... she won't even notice im there!

ooooh meant to ask earlier... when does your school year end this year?
Tatatataaaa
Mr. Carrot Posted Feb 7, 2004
Hi!
Nope, it doesn't work like that over here... We're all registered with an identity number (your birthday and five more digits), we have to report what we earn, otherwise the tax-administration will more or less take what they want from you (a lot)... The whole taxation system is hopeless, though... The administration more or less take what they want.. They've got the law on their side...
Not too tricky, no... I'm sure you'll do great over here...
Hehehe... I see your point. I'm like that too, at need... Oh, I think my mother will be just as interested in you as your mother is in me, to be honest. She'll certainly notice you...
Hmmm... I dunno to be honest. Some time in June... rather early... I'll check it oot...

Traa Laa Laa Dee Dah...
aaaah i see... sucks huh?!
hehe... well i dunno about that! Seriously if you were here my mother would be "normal" at first and then after about half an hour she'd fuss over you, ask about 50(million) questions and fill you with tea and shortbread till you were high on the sugar!tee hee *rolls eyes*
that's good. I finish sometime in June too... well my exams finish then i think... end of May or something.
what you been up to so far this weekend?

Da da da dum...
Doesn't matter. If we didn't pay taxes, the government wouldn't be able to pay for education, culture, orads etc. We all apy what we have to. The only problem is wether or not the system is fair...
I do know... Hehe... that's how it usually is. Ahhh... sugar. So lovely and sweet, yet so unhealthy... I'm used to that behaviour, though. It happens to me every now and again...
I'll check it oot... I dunno how, but I will find out as soon as possible. Has your mother gotten in touch with that friend of hers yet?
Well, yesterday was spent practicing for a concert I've just gotten back from. It was very simple, just some simple percussion for a choir... Yesterday evening was spent watching one of the Monty Oython DVDs, and playing "Call of Duty"... Today I'm going to read for my philosophy test on tuesday... and do some anatomy homework we've gotten from our Gym teacher...Then there's another family party this evening... What about you?

hi!
aaaah you're so moral... tee hee... ignore me... im in one of those weird giggly moods... hmmmm too much Turkish Delight i'd say.
No she hasn't got in touch with her yet... she actually despises the woman! They were friends at school but my mum sees that this friend has changed so much... she a gold digger basically... anyway you don't need the whole story(it would bore you to tears)... anyway i don't suppose i need my mum to talk to her really... i suppose it'll be simple enough for me to get to Norway... then again with me never having been on a plane before i might be so hyper i'll get lost, make a mistake, lose a ticket/suitcase etc!... just kidding.

Hi!
Or perhaps overworked...
Hmmm... she's going to get in touch with a woman she despises so she can keep an eye on you when you come to Norway... Interesting. I suggest you check out the fares at http://www.ryanair.com Once we decide on a time, you can start checking out more precise offers... Naw, you'll be allright. Just don't forget to pick up your luggage. The trip from Glasgow to Oslo isn't really very complicated, both the airports are rather small...
I wonder, how do you manage to do that? The reply window usually has the text you're replying to at the bottom of the page...
Ahhh... I've been ignoring my homework too... I should have been studying for the philosophy test on tuesday, not to mention the horrid gym-report... Or did I perhaps allready say this?
Ahh, yes, the party was fun. I've heard of a new avant-gard group, called "The cleaning ladies". It's a Finnish group consisting of three (transvestite) guys dressed up as cleaning ladies, and playing songs about cleaning on modified cleaning equipment. One of their best instruments is a modified drying rack with a violin bow... Ahhhh... loveliness...

hi!
deffo overworked!
Lol! I know!... well nah i don't think she wanted her to keep an eye on me... well i dunno what she wanted to ask her... maybe just details like flight prices, details of the journey... i don't really know! Then again maybe she was expecting her to make sure im okay... in some ways i'd say im an independant person but in some ways im really not. My mum was like "And will he(meaning you) look after you??"lol...i think it's fair to say she thinks im a bit incapable of getting myself from A to B and doing really simple things... tut tut at her! Then again i should perhaps add that i do regularly do stupid things that just encourage her to see me as "scatter-brained"... like losing my purse which i did just last week... i found it BTW... in my Spanish folder... and i had raked through the bin for it and everything!
How do i manage to forget stuff? Well sometimes i don't forget... sometimes i just send the message because i have the feeling my digibox is about to crash... i get that feeling a lot.
I got 1 Spanish essay done today... i have about 2 more to do... not to be finished until Friday though so that's pretty good.
I couldn't actually get down to my homework for such trivial reasons! The weather wasn't bad and i just wanted to go out somewhere... plus i finally got my Primal Scream CD back from my dad so i've been bouncing around my bedroom to "Rocks" all day.
ooooh! Sounds like a transvestite version of Stomp! How great is that?! well you already know how great that is.
Thing that made me laugh most today: Finding out that my cousin has a crush on a boy i used to go to school with... i know(because my friend who works beside him has been telling me for 6 months) that he has a crush on me... you could say it's a family affair!*rolls eyes*
speak soon chicken pie!

Hi!
Thought so... What is there to do... Just take a day off... That's what I do, anyway.
Harass her about it, anyway. Ordering early pays off... Especially during the summer holidays. Hmmm... Will I look after you? I wonder... Well, I'll pick you up at the airport, and from there, it's really a simple matter, you won't get too many places without me over here, I'm afraid. So yes... I will look after you, methinks... Still, it'll be FUN!!! Naw, everybody does that every now and again. Annoying as it is. Good thing you found your purse again, anyway!
Ahhh... I see... Well, just post twice, then...
Splendid. We've got a test on friday, and one tomorrow... I think I'll be allright this time...
Like I said... nothing wrong with taking a day off (or a weekend in Glasgow, for that matter). I often choose to go outside or something like that, just to get inspiration...
Just had to be Finnish, didn't it? It's bloddy excellent, I've allready made a Cleaning Women cult at school... You just can't play it to a person without having him/her laugh really loudly...
Aww... feel sorry for your cousin. And this guy that's interested in you... do you like him, then? I want ALL the details here...
Right, when you get back online...

righty o.
awwww you'll pick me up at the airport?! yaay! "Claire had been imagining herself stranded in Oslo"... i suppose i might have gotten some sympathy with my "lille skotske jenta" act... tee hee
It WILL BE FUN!
i've got no tests this week but a whole load the week i come back(im off all next week) gosh i hope i get down to studying enough... i actually had to take my music homework to college yesterday and do it at lunchtime because i had totally forgotten to do it. I mean i had 2 weeks!
"looks around" right i really feel like i'm getting kicked off this computer soon...
im going into Glasgow after this... need to get the new easyworld album... plus i'll look for the Span single too and also a CD my mum wants... aaaah the joys od CD shopping... soooo much better than clothes shopping! especially when it's something you've been anticipating for ages.

hi again... right didn't get hassled... the guy took another comp... sweet.
oh right... well i should add that my little cousin is 12 so i should probably be more sensitive to the whole issue ut i think it's soooo funny! Anyway... och... well i know him from school... he's super brainy and nice and everything... but the last time i spoke to him was the prom!(that was last June, so ages ago)... i've seen him in the supermarket a few times but no actual proper conversation... to be honest with you the times i've spoke to him most i have been crying my eyes out!lol... i failed my xylophone exam last year(it was only a pre-lim but i was really upset). I ended up crying on his shoulder when i came out of the exam AND when i found out i failed it(by 1 mark!).
Anyway that's that... not much to say really... he;s a major flirt anyway!

Hi Claire!
Hehe... well, technically, you're not eating lunch either, are you...
Yup, my mother insists on it... I don't mind either... Well, technically, the airport isn't in Oslo. If you fly with Ryanair, you'll be landing in Sandefjord, about two hours southwest of Oslo, and if you fly with anything else, you're likely to land at Gardermoen, which is approx. one hour northeast of Oslo... Anyway, there are always airport buses, but it's much more fun to pick you up at the airport...
Indeed it will...
Awww... what music homework was that?
Ahhh... I've been CD-shopping today. I've used yet another gift certificate (only one more to go), and bought "absolution"... I saw the Span single in the shop today... Didn't buy it, though...
Awww... poor cousin... Anyway, sounds like a nice guy... That's all I can say, I suppose...

hi again...
being able to reply to you just once a day(at the very most) is really getting me down!
ah but i was going home to eat my lunch so there! okay maybe they were too...
ooooh gosh sounds like a long drive from the airport then...? Well i mean if your mother insists! Ooooh and i get to go on a plane for the first time ever!... my mum was wondering how long the flight is?(she asks such random questions) oh and how much were you plane tickets when you came here?... i kept forgetting to ask that because i can't sit at home, remember something i wanted to ask/say to you and then go on h2g2 anymore... im kinda worried if there'll be a lack of communication now im denied access to this via digibox! och well im sure it'll be fine.
oh and another thing... you sure you can put up with me on the way from the airport...? i mean i'll be super hyper because it'll have been the first time i'll have been on a plane! i'll probably be bouncing off the walls
ooooh "absolution"... i was gonna buy that... it seems like it would be a good album. Is it? I bought EW's new album and i also got the Span single... i was in for Velvet Goldmine too but couldn't get it... wasn't going home with just one CD when i was in for 2!:0
poor cousin? och no! She's a bit of a nightmare actually! Well not really... we're just like chalk and cheese... she's such a drama queen... she's a wee cleptomaniac too... glad i can finally steal something from her!...lol... im seriously kidding... hehehe
rightums... till next time... whenever that'll be...

Hi again!
I know... I'll send you an email when I get home...
Exactly...
Well, it's prolly about one and a half, maybe two hours. We're not that far from Torp, really... Believe me, she does... The flight is approximately two hours ling, all dependent on the weather... Our plane tickets were 750 Nok... that would be about.... erm...60£ They only cost 500 the week before, hence why you should order early. They even have free tickets, and they've got a sale up for tickets from Glasgow to Oslo nowadays, methinks... We'll solve it.
Sure... remind me to bring a straghtjacket... Naw, that won't do too much. I've got siblings, remember...
Great album, great album. I've still got to listen to some more albums. I hjaven't listened to everything I've gotten for my birthday yet...
Well, I still don't think she deserves this (I've been in somewhat of the same situation, and it's definately not very fun). We've all got faults... Nobody deserves any pain, but we still get it... Laws of cause and effect, really...
Tonight, if I manage to send off that mail...
