Hi!
True... I don't think five a day is really such a great idea... Fruit holds a lot of acid... Bread works best for me... Keeps my concentration going...
Doesn't matter... I had a baguette with chicken today, as a sweet-substitute... It's actually a lot better, because it's really tasty, and you don't feel bad after eating it...
Well, she just likes to pick on me, I suppose... We're so similar that we remind each other of things that we'd rather forget... Sad, really...
Not to worry...
Anyway, have you told your mother about going to Norway... It's a good idea to order plane tickets early, they're cheaper if you order well in advance (at least with Ryanair).

hi!
yeah well you could say that... oh i had a chicken baguette too today! i still ate sweeties though... oooops! my mum is reading my messages(again) and she would like you to know i actually had a ham baguette.! me and my memory...
i lost my purse yesterday... there were was £20 in it and my house key My mum is slagging me off because i was raking through bins today looking for it!(i thought i accidentally ditched it along with my lunch)... it's been "one of those days"... i was on the train coming from Glasgow to Blantyre... it took 50 minutes!(usually only takes 25)... the train was dead slow and the it stopped 10 minutes from Blantyre for for 15 minutes! It then carried on and when we got to Newton police officers with guns and alsatians came on and took away the guy who was sitting right next to me! They accused him of being in possession of a gun... he didn't have anything more than a newspaper on him...! it was a right drama... i was a bit shaken actually!
ah i see.
yeah i said to her on Friday. She's fine about it. I think that's why she was so keen to meet you... she's convinced you're going to change your mind! She's going to speak to her friend about it who it turns out travels to Oslo for a week every single month.
be online soon... i bet my mum wants to watch Friends the noo...

Hi!
I think so... Me dad's a dentist, so he opposes fruit... esepcially fruit juices... Or... he doesn't oppose it, but it isn't healthy to the teeth to eat too many apples...
Awww... that's horrid. And dramatic... any idea why they thought he had a gun? I can see why you were shaken with that...
Now, why would I ever want to change my mind??? Anyway, that's a good idea. I wonder why someone would go to Norway that often... I mean, it's not that bloody fantastic...
Ahh... I've got to read for my science test tomorrow... And I'm giving a concert tomorrow... aaaaaagh

hei ogg hop, sin dopp!(probably wrong.)
yeah that's true... aaaah i don't like apples too much anyway. Wow, dentist... that's a great job. Well it's one of those ones where you need to get like straight A's.
nah i have no idea... they said over some speaker on the train "Sorry for the inconvenience"... they didn't tell us what it was about though... the guy who was accused just for back on the train and went back to sleep! i was all nervous all the way home!
i dunno why she'd think you'd change your mind... she's weird! Hmmmm i'll need to ask her about that.

Very wrong indeed.... You've messed up all the first letters... It's "Hei og hopp, din sopp!", which roughly translated means "Hello, you're a mushroom", but it rhymes, so who cares...
You weren't far away, though.
Hmmm... well, I've always thought that it must be a very boring job. But that's absolutely true... Not to worry. I can't remember having said it, so the postscript was unneccesary anyway...
How extremely odd... Sounds interesting, though. Hmmm... I don't think I would have fallen asleep after having been accused of carrying a gun...
Not very nice to say something like that, if you ask me... But do ask her... (not sure if this is a smiley, prolly not, but I'll try)

hi!
wish i had a proper reply for you! I asked my mum but she was only half sure... it's something to do with her friends' work... anyway she definitely goes to Oslo every month... she's an old school friend of my mums'... she's needing to catch up with her sometime soon.
speaking of school friends, hows Kristian and Co?
*yearning for a gig, yearning for a gig* in some way i soooo wish the Span gig was yet to come! btw were you nervous waiting in that bar before we met?

Hi!
Oh, that's soooooo cool! *Øyvind starts planning what to do when Claire comes to Norway*
Sigrid says "Hi and thanks for the lovely card", BTW. We've definately given her something to talk about...
Och, he's fine I think... He usually is.
Can you believe that only a week ago, we were standing at the bar at king tut's??? Incredible, isn't it? Feels like ages ago allready...
Yup, I had tried to phone you, but I got the message saying your phone number didn't exist... So I was wondering if you had simply mistyped the number, if my phone was malfunctioning, or if you weren't coming... Also, we were waiting for quite a long time outside the venue, and several girls passed us, then when you finally came, you walked straight past us and into the girls bathroom... I thought at that moment that it might be you, but I wondered why you had just run straight past me... It was great though, I must admit I allready miss you...
Well, I'm just off playing another concert... Oddly enough, the audience always starts crying. I must either be playing really bad, or there's something special about these gigs...

hi!
Oh gosh... i bet you have a full itinerary! And there we were in Glasgow and you're like "So what'd you like to do now?"... and im like "Ummmm what is there to do?!" and then you're showing me places in Glasgow i never even knew existed or i had heard of but didn't know their exact location! aaaah im rather excited now! I'll tell you everything once my mum gets in touch with her friend... i'll bug her about it till she phones her!
Awwww tell her she's very welcome but i only put my wee name on it! I'm a bit of a practical joker(believe it or not) so i can see me winding her up about this when i come over...! Is Sigrid at school with you?
aaaah that's okay then... i felt a bit bad about Kristian the whole time to be honest... when we first met, you mentioned something about him ,being a bit worried he'd be like "the third wheel"... i didn't feel like that(i didn't even think about it) but i felt bad all the same because it was really you who i was there to meet.
gosh i know! It's been a week?!lol... aha aha! you thought i wasn't coming?! How could you Oyvind! Just kidding!... i totally understand you thinking that expecially because you couldn't get through to my number. It was really weird(im sitting here smiling just thinking about it!) when me n Kate were in the loos and her phone rang... she told me to answer it because i was just lolling around waiting for her... so i answer it and 2 seconds lands later she puts on the hand dryer and i couldn't hear you! You said something about being "the Danish boy" and that you were in the bar but i was so taken aback by your accent i only half understood you(mind you the hand dryer didn't help matters). So i told Katie and we went out to the bar... however i was assuming i would instantly recognise you... i was panicking a bit when i didn't... turns out you were behind me! Duh! *laughs* yeah Kate was like "Look behind you, i think they're behind you"... i swear to god i've never been so nervous in all my life!... didn't help that in the car Kate was teasing(in a nice way) saying you could turn out to be a 40 year old man! When i walked through the bar at first i didn't look at anyone... I was too blimmin scared i'd see a lonely middle-aged man!
i now digress... awwww that's so great about the concerts!... i think we'll goo with the latter eh? Hey when i come over you should take me to one of your concerts if you're playing any at the time. I'd like that.

and of course i miss you too... heck i've missed you since Saturday night! I've eaten 6 creme eggs since then!... okay okay i should not use you as an excuse for my chocolate weakness... aaaah...

Hi!
Hmmm... I'm thinking about it... Drammen, Oslo... You should see Holmsbu. Then there's the swimming... Now, what I'd really like to do is to take you on "Rallarvegen"... this little mountain road where people go by bike... Really nice, incredible nature... We'll see what we can do... Hey, if I could do that in Glasgow, just wait till you see my on my home grounds, eh? Naw, I really think it's because I was a tourist, which means that I was looking for just such places...
I think she understood that you'd just signed it... I mean, the postcard was written in Norwegian, after all... But still... Yup, She's in my class.
Not at all... He was really happy about the whole trip... He got to see his art school, and he also said that he rather liked meeting you. I don't think he felt like a third wheel at all... I was actually more worried you would feel like that...
Incredible, isn't it? I thing I'm dating everything after this according to Before Glasgow and After Glasgow... I can't remember much of what happened before I went... for some reason... Anyway, I didn't think you weren't coming, I was slightly worried, that's all... Anyway, Sigrid had said something very similar about you... She asked me how old you were, and I said seventeen, and she kinda shot in "or forty"... Hehehe... was that you? I thought I was talking to Katie... which is why I called meself the danish boy... I couldn't hear a word I was saying because of that blimmin hand-drier... Oh, what we do, eh? At least that explains why you walked straight past us (you nearly walked into me, actually)...
And I uphold that there is nothing wrong with digressing... Thanks... I'll see what I can do... Perhaps you could see my teacher perform or something, I dunno if I'll be doing anything during the summer holidays...

No problem, I'll teach you how to do it. I have got a lot of patience... actually. Yup, you're right, it is simple, but you've just got to do it a couple of times to get the hang of it...
So have I. It was really hard to say goodbye in the end. I had been dreading it for the whole evening. And then the train came in and we didn't have time to say good-bye properly... It was so odd... Still, we will see each other again, I suppose... Hey, I'm far away, and cannot therefore take the consequences, you may indeed use me as an excuse... I had a whole 100g bar of milk chocolate today... plus a cocoa, plus some left over cake from last night's concert... Come to think of it, I don't think I've had this much chocolate in one day for a VERY long time... Not very healthy, but still...

Hi!
ooooh definitely Oslo! Oh and Drammen of course. Are they big cities? I think i heard you say something about Oslo being smaller than Glasgow? On and btw i though you said i'd be staying in Holmsbu? Ummmm what else? Oh yeah... swimming... *runs away*... can i go swimming fully-dressed?! tee hee... Oh! Rallarvegan sounds good! gosh i'm gonna havta build up my stamina!
Aaaah that's cool. Actually thinking about it i'll be really excited to meet your friends too! There's Aleks, Geir, Mari, Kristian of course and then there's Sigrid.
ah that's good... im rather relieved to hear that. och nah i didn't feel like a "third wheel"... Im just adamant about learning Norwegian now, that's all!
Yeah that was me on the phone! lol... all i got out of the conversatonn was "Im in the bar"... oh and "Danish boy" of course... you know it probably wouldn't have helped had you said "It's Oyvind" because when i asked you how to pronounce your name i was in shock!.!.. it really doesn't sound like "ovened" does it?! Sigrid said something lthing like that too?! See these friends of ours?!lol... Nah but seriously when i heard your voice i got a shock... it's a lot deeper than i had expected so im thinking " "What age IS he?!" My mum was saying the same thing after she answered the phone to you: "You sure he's 18?!"lol

Hi!
Rightoes... Not by your definition, I would think. Both Drammen and Oslo are really wee compared to Glasgow, but they're nice, though... You'll be staying at our place, which is at Kana, about 10 minutes by bike from Holmsbu... You'll see when you get here... What? You don't like swimming? I think you'll like swimming in the sea, though... Rallarvegen is lovely. I went there last summer... Ahh, sweet memories...
Ahh, yes. That'll be fun. We'll see how many of them you'll be able to meet, though. Most of 'em will probably be away somewhere...
That's good... Well, that's yet another language for you, isn't it? It would be easier if you knew German, I think. Still, it's not too hard, really. The trick is learning the wovels...
Hehehe... and I've been thinking it was Katie all this time... Hmmm... must be something about Norwegians, I've never been told that my voice is unusual before... That's interesting... I do sing second bass in the choir, though...

of course i have forgotten some things...
I nearly walked into you? Im not surprised actually... the way i shot through that bar not looking sideways!lol oh and i have to say... you got us the best spot in the bar! *mind wanders" it's always really hard to get the spot beside the pool table... hence why i always get stuck beside the chalkboard... forget it's there and end up with multicoloured chalk hair... aaaah the joys!im rhyming too... It's been a good day for me and langauge... i understood almost everything Victoria(Spanish assistant) said today... and could even answer more than "No lo se"! tee hee.
oh yaay yaay! Im gonna learn to scan! *jumps up and down" You know im not really the computer novice i make myself out to be sometimes... well no actually i am(!), however i am willing(and wanting of course) to learn... i wouldn't exactly call myself a technophobe) i suppose if i had a computer then i would know how to do these things. y'kno?
aaaargh need to go get my dinner... im not even finished writing!

aarrrrgh! You've replied! I can't type that fast!lol... well i can actually but i have to delete every 2nd word because of this stupid keyboard and it's stupid stutter!lol
Och... they'll mostly be away on holiday then? I don't suppose i'd know what to say to them anyway... except the thing about being "lille skotske jenta"!
yeah it is! I don't suppose anyone considers you abnormally tall either then? Cripes! Aren't i with my petiteness and dark hair going to stick out like a sore thumb?!:0
right i need to go get my dinner now... my mother says im going to end up with "bent fingers" from all this typing... she paints a picture eh?!lol

Hi!
awwww that's sweet of you! I wasn't counting on staying with you btw... i mean is your mother okay with someone invading her house for a few days? Teh offers open this side too...oo.... if you some back to Glasgow you can certainly stay here... it's a wee hoose and there's no computer but im sure you'd be fine!lol... it could be like some sort of experiment "How long can Oyvind go with no computer and a slight lack of privacy"!
well strictly speaking i do like swimming although im not the strongest of swimmers... im not bad mind.. no it's the thought of having to lose several layers of clothing in order to go swimming... *runs away again"... see what i mean? ha! im sure it'd be fine though.
