Oh, right... Sounds horrid... Still, that movie is worth it. I'm seriously cosidering doing a marathon when the last one comes out. THEN I'll have to take DVT into consideration...

Yup, such things happen. You can't always control pyrotechnics. And we had some rather dangerous misfires on new-years eve. But none of those were fired by me... for some odd reason. I have a way with fireworks, much like I have a way with computers...

Or so I would like to believe anyway.

Hullo!

Oh, right. It's a merdy 'lil thing I've been participating in for a couple of years. It's the worlds biggest computer party (5500 participants), and it lasts for five days... www.gathering.org

Hehehehehe... Ahh, yes, our little hobbit. The only plumber with the crack between his teeth . Well, over here we've called him "the living fire extinguisher". So, I don't that it comes as a surprise. Still, he has a good voice, for pop music.

Hiya!

All of 'em. We all bring our computers, link them up over a high-speed network, play against each other, transfer files, collaborate in workshops, have computer-building contests, programmming and gaming contests (the prizes are great too, 1000£ for the best useless computer program). We talk, and exchagne experiences... And we have loads of fun useless competitions. A guy I know won the "dress up as a girl and dance"-competition, AND the Pop Idol-competition (not the big one, we had a small parody)... The record for fastest computer building was set to 8 mins I think...

Weeeeel. I think it's rather rude to the poor guy... But then again...

are you back at school tomorrow?(monday). College starts back tomorrow but im never in on a Monday so im going shopping tomorrow. Probably splash some Christmas cash... i hope... it's quite a dull time the start of January isn't it? I really hate it... it's after xmas and hogmnany and it's ages till the next big holiday(Easter of course) Then again you have your birthday so that's good! oh plus Dream Theater and Span!... and i have 2 gigs next week... not gonna be so bad really!

YOU DIDN'T??? I'll have you in for sacrilege, so I will. I didn't know that it was at all possible to miss out on fifteen minutes of that movie... I mean, it was soooo exciting. And, since I knew it was going to be a long film, I avoided drinking something for at least an hour in advance of seeing the film. You just can't go to the loo in the middle of something that exciting... Even though you know what's going to happen...

Ahh... well, we have prelims closer to easter. I dunno how things are in Glasgow, but over here, we've finally gotten our well-deserved snow, this time staying on for the winter, or so it seems...

oh i know im pretty terrible... i bought a drink at the cinema though and it was hot in the actual theater so i had to drink! here comes the worst bit: i missed the very end because i needed the loo again!lol im going back to see it on Thursday though... i shall steer clear of the drinkies...! ps- i might add that myself(and even patient Katie) were getting fed up because of the people behind us who were talking constantly so in a way i didn't see the point in not going to the bathroom when i needed it. They had distracted me anyway.

yep i can believe it. January is a more likely time for snow right enough. and i think we might be getting some over here too before long.

Sounds horrible. They should throw 'em out of the theater. I really wanted to bring a jar of daddy-long-legs along for the Shelob-scene, though. That would've started a panic, right enough.

Anyways, I hope you'll manage it without needing the loo this time.

I really hope so, it's time to go skiing, methinks... Have I told you of my (very Norwegian) obsession with skiing? Alpine skiing, that is...

Gosh i know... i mean you pay £5(well £3.50 because we're students) i mean you don't expect that kind of nonsense... they don't really supervise the theaters... there are so many of them in the new complex

ha! sounds like me! i was laughing at this guy on the telly last night when he said it was the anniversary of his dogs death... someone asked how it died... he said rather grimly"It committed suicide" then the other person asked "How do you know that?" and the guy said "Well why else would it jump off the balcony?"...!!!! it's my sense of humour through and through... i've got a pretty sick sense of humour even although im completely harmless...

eugh i have final exams next month... and quite a few deadlines this this month... however did i tell you we're getting a week of college in February simply because inspectors are coming the followng week and the college is to be redecorated... im not kidding you have to keep moving in the corridors or you get painted!lol... you'd think we were expecting royalty.

WOW! We have that in common too... Who would have thought it. I have a really grotesque side to my humour. Which is why I love "the Far Side"... Bloody ingenious, so it is!

Sounds like you're in for a bit of an exam rush, then... We're closing in on "end-of-term", which means that all the teachers are putting up last minute tests. Some of us have got three tests next wednesday, and a test on monday, plus one tomorrow and one on friday... Eugh.

Well, at least you've got a week up. I wonder if this collides in any way with the Norwegian winter-holidays?
