Okay, I'll bite, although this trick has been played on me before!
Good thing I like Norway... smiley - winkeye
And "non-stop". I have fond memories of non-stop!
Hello then.. (and alas, it is true that my norwegian is woeful.)

Hade! - Animbus.

Impressive... Usually, foreigners say "Jeg snakker ikke bra Norge"smiley - biggrin

Say, in your reference to biting, does this mean you're a fish?smiley - tongueout

Ahhh, non-stop, the loveliness. We only use it on cakes these days, they're so expensive... smiley - sadface

Hullo! (not to worry, you're better than mostsmiley - winkeye)

Ha det!/bye! - Øyvind

That's true, I don't speak good Norway either!
I speak very good England though.
(Sometimes!)

I see that you are a player of music... of myself, I claim a modest pretension to throwing myself at the pianos of other people's houses, and sometimes even hitting the keys. smiley - biggrin

Impressive!smiley - winkeye
And splendid...smiley - smiley

Fascinating scill, that. I don't often touch pianos, I have to do it at school, but otherwise, I prefer percussion and guitars...smiley - smiley I've noticed that you've got an interest in old Norse, though. Tell me, how come a Kiwi get's that interested in something as obscure as old Scandinavian history???

I'm really not sure about what did it exactly... smiley - smiley
There's a mixture of things - the longships, the language and old myths, the design style. And Mead and axes and swords too. smiley - winkeye

Also, part of my family tree goes back to the Orkney Islands, which, along with the Shetlands, have a population deriving from the Norse.
(Nerdy tip of the Day - they don't speak Gaelic there, even though it is found everywhere else in Scotland!)

Hmmm... I suppose it's an interesting history, in a way. Some of it is, at least. Viking swords, eh? Would that be the ones with the folded and stamped iron? I've never tried Mead, though... Is there anywhere one could get hold of that, or would you have to brew it yourself?

Ah, yes, the orkneys. We hocked them to Briain a long time ago, for a ridiculously small sum of money. The contract was found a couple of decades ago, apparently we COULD buy the orkneys back for just a few thousand pounds...smiley - biggrin
