Opticalillusion- media mynx life would be boring without hiccups Started conversation Jan 5, 2007
As many of you know I am due to take my driving test next week and I'm rather worried about it. Below is a link to my question as to how to overcome being panicky about this test and some people's answers. to all those who have already commented. I look forward to hearing more on this.

I failed my driving test the first time as well.
I went into a yellow criss cross box without checking to see if the exit was clear over the other side.
Sorry to hear you failed
Now you know what the problem is you will have a better chance of passing it the next time.
Were you nervous?

I think that a test is all very well but 1 in every 200 licence holders would pass again, and this new test is a much harder one than it was even 5 years ago

my daughter passed her driving test first time
What makes you say it is a much harder one that it was even 5 years ago. Are you a driving instructor?

bobstafford Posted Jan 9, 2007
No but I know one and the standards set to pass are higher in as much as even minor slips can be marked down

There are still a lot of crazy drivers on the road.
What are you suggesting? That we have to re-take our test every 5 years? I saw a car on the pavement yesterday. I have no idea what she was doing (obviously she didn't either)

bobstafford Posted Jan 9, 2007
No I say it is a good job we dont, there would be fewer drivers out there

I am a driver, so I shouldn't really say this, but
there are too many drivers on the road anyway.

Talking of tennis reminds me, I saw someone driving a red sports car today who looked just like one of my old boyfriends
...He's looking a bit chubbier
he also looked like he had plenty of
Perhaps he might like to buy a pub
