Oooops, got engrossed reading an entry about the 80's....nostalgic it was!
Knew you'd be flapping about now, not bothering to tell you to 'calm down' cos won't be any use...you'll be fine!
It#s like grand central station here again..I HATE IT! People turning up all hours, bloody phonecalls...and nowhere to escape to....but things should calm down after a routine is established...she says! Good idea to make a 'date' for a call on here, cos I get my phonecalls listened to sometimes .....oh, by the way....I bought a car the other day.....DON'T ASK! Actually, too good a buy to miss, and a t least it's got the ball rolling.Having to go on Helena's insurance, cos couldn't afford by myself, also, need to tax it to move it to my place...then it's just a question of driving lessons...but it's a good car..honest!

Got weird weather here at mo....is like the Sahara one minute...then we get monsoons...then it's all hot n muggy again....4 seasons in a day! I blame God!
Once I'm up and running, the car will be a Godsend, just a case of affording to run it then...Oh, I don't know what the bloody hell I'm doing..I'm sure if here had been a bloody camel with a 'for sale' sign pinned on it I would have bought that instead

Researcher 230946 Posted Jul 22, 2003

Hiya Sorry, I've not been able to get on here til late...it's a struggle to get a minute alone, or to stand still at the moment, hopefully that should change next week when the carers start. Anyway, wanted to leave you a message to let you know I'll give you a call tomorrow, probably late afternoon if that's ok? i know you'll be in last minute blind panic mode, so if it's not a goood time I'll understand.

,,,Ironing all done and sent everyone to bed, and taking an hour on here for myself.....my God I hurt everywhere! I think I'm allergic to all things domestic y'know.....I never get this 'sense of achievement or whatever' when I've done, infact, spend the whole process in a foul mood, muttering and swearing and all manner of resentful out pourings, then collapse in a pissed off heap, aching and thinking about all the nice things I could have been doing in that time...I should have been born a princess.....I keep asking mum if maybe she has my adoption papers somewhere.....I'll still call her mum.....and visit.....then once I'm queen make sure she's got all creature comforts, maybe find her a small corner of the palace.....Cor,.....I could make laws and stuff if I were Queen..hehehehe..."OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!" Ofcourse, I'd let all my friends have a go....we'd fill those spikes on the rails of Buck Palace in noooooo time! OOooooh.. heck....just imagined myself as queen when I have pms...kin ell....be no bugger left! makes you think though....maybe that's what was up with Lizzie the I? Sorry..Granmama.....hehehe....think that ironing's done strange things to my head....what did I tell you?
If I don't get a chance to speak with you before....have a great time, and leave nothing in those shopping malls !!

.....she didn't even stay for 1/2 an hour...after turning up an hour late...I had already begun to bath mum when she arrived, she took over.....(without washing mums face, left wet towels on the floor, didn't clean round the bath, and dressed her for winter!)...I was straight onto the care manager, (whom I really like by the way), she was fuming...sacked the agency, is writing an 'official' complaint (they told her they couldn't even guarantee any carer turning up 'on time', let alone the rest!)...so she blew them out and is searching for new blood! Going to email her later tonight with a couple of ideas that would certainly work better for me....and mum ofcourse. One thing being, it's hard enough for my mum to ask and accept me bathing her, let alone different bloody strangers...modesty and dignity and all that. Also, it's an easy enough thing for me to do anyway, and to be honest, there's not a hell of a lot I can do in an hour with somebody else in my house.....more to the point, there's really naff all for them to do apart from bath mum. It would be far more useful, if they would agree to giving me some 'real' time off, a few hours in a block, to go shopping, take himself out, etc etc....and all they then have to do is sit and keep mum company and make cups of tea. I'll put it to her and see what she says.
Hope you manage to sneak on a bit later, be nice to see you before you go
