Ah, Pliny...

Like Bel, I can only sign in to Pliny, but once in, I can then cross over to Brunel in another tab/window using www.h2g2.com

I don't know!
For just text, it's pretty much OK.
But as soon as you need to do links, I think you need to move to GuideML. But I have failed at that lately... so. Will need to learn more before I can help you.

Sure, no problem. I was just noodling around to see if I found anything useful.
I know I can put text in by writing it in GuideML first.

I'm afraid i've skipped much of the muttering, being lazy that i am
I did see a request for it to be switched to 20 comments per page rather than 10 - that was a note that i saw when i was looking around pliny - i really think it would slow down convos to much at 10

Pastey explained it to me, so all is well. As long as I can switch to brunel after having signed in in Pliny, I'm fine.

I had the opposite... almost happen the other day: I coudln't log into h2g2, unless*I went in via the test/new version of teh site... ...
Ah, Pliny...
Milla, h2g2 Operations Posted Apr 28, 2012
That is the way. Once you have logged in via Pliny, you must log in there, and then just open ripley.
(at least that is what I think I learned today)

Its been set to remember me since, so I've not tried or had to log in since... and I'm in ... blimey... plimoth... ere whatever its called... 'unbarlesque' at the moment... gradulaly getting the hang of it I think...
(I vaguely remember some complicated techy E-Mail though, from pasty, involving a fish being hooked up to a dead bass, and then being alive... err... or was it a database being hooked up to a haddock which was live... something like that )

2legs, that's it: I couldn't even open h2g2 this morning, so I tried Pliny, and it worked. So now I'll have to use it to sign in. No big hardship.

Yep, that confused me for a while... was a little worried that it might mean the ordinary log in wasn't working for anyone, including those who arn't testing out the Pliny...

Yes, it's why I emailed Milla about it, who collects the bugs. She told Pastey, and he explained it to me.
Key: Complain about this post
