It was a great time and I'm grateful there was an h2g2 website when I read 'The Salmon of Doubt' in 2003.
I'll miss the eds and I hope they'll join us on the other servers.
I won't miss the erratic moderation of late, so I'm leaving with - I guess I'd best post that forrin language in the second post

Bel, don't cry. But neither rejoice.
It's a situation we didn't ask for but the solution means we can maintain this wonderful craft and sail into the future with as many of our friends and lost mates joining us as we can.

How I envy you. I loved cycling. Maybe I should borrow a bike, to see if I can still manage it. Not sure my balance is up to it.
