no, not what you think.
I'm away to my parents for a few days, and it's not a good season to visit them as they live up in the north* and my dad is always reluctant to turn the heating on.
Packing my suitcase now:
Woollen pullovers - check
Long woollen skirt - check
Woollen underwear - check
Woollen socks - check
- check
- check (did anyone ask for a brollie smiley, btw?)
Thyroid tablets - check
Toothbrush and other related stuff - check
Camera - apparently in the car (or so I was just told), will have to go and get it.
Mobile phone - check
And I'm glad I sat down to type this list or I might have forgotten to take the train ticket.
Have a good weekend all, see you next week.
*no, not in Siberia,but still.

Yes, we ordered an
Bel you're making me feel
It's cold enough in Cleethorpesand I'll not want to travel north to become more icy () [I wonder if someone's ears are burning?]
Have a good holiday, did you remember the earmuffs?

I think, if you sat in my living room wearing all that I would feel so guilty I'd have to turn up the heating
and I hope the bed is nice and warm
(don't forget your slippers!)

I'm not really here Posted Oct 4, 2008
I can understand about the heating, mine hasn't gone on yet either. Next week I'll have to, at least for the morning as J has started complaining and is even more difficult to get out of bed than normal.
Enjoy your trip!

Have fun, Bel!
I'm hiding at my mother's this weekend, too - unlike mine, her house *is* heated! But I have to help harvest and process the apples, so most of the time may well be spent being cold and damp anyway.
