You mentioned a 'binary search', Gnomon, which I took for having to do with maths.
I think I first posted either the day I joined, or the day after that.

Binary Search is the quickest way. It just means setting an upper limit and a lower limit on what you're looking for, and always looking exactly half way between these two.
